Love it. Not even going to keep trying to beat level 20, kept trying to create a line of boxes on the sticky web as a platform to roll the baby spider on, looked at the walkthrough solution and just went 'haha, nope, no way can I do that' Maybe I'll try it properly one day. Easily a 4/5, great job :)
Really liked it, and I loved the idea of scoring more points by having the optional bonus of converting some trees into xmas trees. 4/5 for concept, execution and graphics, but I'd give it a 5/5 if it had an undo move button. That one misclick on a large, carefully planned level can be devastating when you have to start all over.
Wow, a gem in the latest games section! You don't see that very often :) Really enjoyed it and was nice to see it had a storyline. Love the whole 'simple yet hard to master' which is how games should be, IMHO. I like the suggestion of it having an in-game level indicator. 4/5
Excellent game, love the concept. It was definitely built with the player in mind, eg. when you're waiting for a ledge they zip, but when you're performing an action they pause for a while for you to get your bearings (pardon the pun XD) Loved how the screen edges were solid, made some of the trickier levels MUCH more bearable. However, some of the levels were maddeningly frustrating, & it was horrible after all that effort to get them to the kids face, only for them to shoot past his head. For those, even the completionist in me was happy to leave it below 100%. Still easily 4/5 though, it really is a lovely game. Perhaps if the kids mouth 'hitbox' was bigger/more responsive, & the finicky bits in the frustrating levels were tweaked, it could easily be more than a 5. Loved the momentum of the ball, remarkable in terms of gameplay. With an auto-speed-up at the end, R to restart, & spacebar to go to next level, you ticked many boxes for me! :D I like the idea of a speed-up button.
Hi, I just tried to play your game but it just came up with a blank screen with the Unity logo, saying 'Failed to download data file' . I don't know anything about programming but I tried clicking the 'Error details' button to see if there was anything I could paste to you, but it just comes up with 'Download failed, please retry'. Hope you get it fixed soon as I would have liked to have seen your game! Making games at any age is a huge undertaking, but at 11? I wish you all the best, hopefully you'll be a known name on here some day with great games! :)
Completely agree with harimau2 . I enjoyed the game very much, but unfortunately I can only give it 1 star due to having to start ALL OVER AGAIN just for failing 1 level. Getting half way through the game and being taken back to the start because of bad luck on one level is ridiculous. 1 star may sound harsh, but when it almost makes the game unplayable then I think that's fair. If you gave the option to replay the level to our content then I would have easily given it 4 stars.
+1 to roy80bill 's comment, when I first read it I wasn't sure what they meant, but now I have it too. It seems the problem arises should you immediately accept another order from the Merchant. I think what's *supposed* to happen is he either disappears after you turn in your crops, or he's meant to 'refresh' with a new quest, but there's some form of error in the way the game tries to complete that. I had wondered if it wasn't simply not showing thee icon, but I harvested every kind of crop and they went to the market crates instead of quota. To those who haven't turned in an order yet, I'd advise you not to accept anything after doing so. Hope it gets fixed soon, loving the game so far! :D
Nice idea, I loved factory balls and as others have said the idea is like it in terms of order and 'painting' them with snow. I liked the idea of it being an interactive environment, but also as others have said, it's far too tedious. R to restart would have been nice. Due to the tedium I can't give it more than a 3 and stopped at level 12, which is a shame because the concept is great but the execution is poor. I've noticed your games often bring new things to the table, so don't be disheartened -- this was probably just a minor blip :)
It's not bad but it's not great either. The graphics are lovely and the game idea itself is quite addictive, but I found eventually it got more frustrating than fun. It just becomes a massive click-fest, and it's incredibly annoying when you KNOW you've clicked something and it hasn't registered. I also hate the drag-and-click mechanic for putting things in crates for the same reasons -- sometimes you KNOW you've put it in the crate, only for it to shoot back to the spawn point. So I'd suggest better click responses, perhaps bigger 'hit boxes' for things you have to click, and things that need to receive items like crates. I stopped playing when I was losing levels just because it wasn't registering important actions. 3/5 for the game and the fun that was had, it could be a 5/5 if the mechanics and responses were smoother and better.
Beautiful, excellent gameplay, tight controls and intriguing puzzles. The music, graphic and art style are adorable. My only suggestion would be, that when it shows the storyline the image flickers in a sort of 'flashback' way -- I don't know about anyone else, but as someone who is light and flicker sensitive, it made it almost unwatchable for the nausea, eye strain and head-pounding. Only a minor thing that won't affect my rating, just would be nice to watch the story bits comfortably :)
Really nice, but please let us skip cutscenes on levels where we've already seen them. Having to sit through them every time you've made a mistake gets tedious quickly. Apart from that, and a couple of iffy controls as mentioned by others, good job! :)
Beautiful and very moving... it was an honour to have played this game. Thankyou so much, I hope you create more of these masterpieces. As a lover of the abstract and surreal, I was immediately gripped, but was worried that it would just be an art and music game. I was wrong, this ticked all the boxes, it was perfect. 5/5 and favourited. Bravo and encore! :)
Awesome tactics in the comments here, here's mine for 'the dreaded V of cars while being bombarded with a mega air-strike' 1st, Equip napalm.(my primary was rockets, but it depends on your play style)It's all about damage limitation. I've always taken at least some damage from these but maybe you'll be better :P 2nd, when you see the 'V' of cars approaching, stick to 1 side and use napalm. This will take out 1/2 the screen, leaving you free to roam on 1 side & dodge the air-strike markers. Whatever you do, don't let your leader get hit by a car, I think it's better to take some car rocket damage than risk firing at them head on (hence why rocket launcher is handy) Also, try not to pull your squad down to the bottom of the screen - this makes them form a line rather than a loose V, which means pretty much all of them get hit rather than a few. During the 'V's of death' you must prioritise your leader. You want to minimise team damage but it's very easy to get insta-killed . Good luck!
Beautiful, absolutely loved it on all fronts. Graphics, music, voice acting were wonderful bonuses, but so see a game with such fun gameplay with a wonderful story is getting rarer these days. Brilliantly executed, and the end song felt like a reward in itself. How often do we see devs these days rewarding us with their game, for beating their game? 5/5, hope to see more of this, and hopefully from the same storyline.
It IS possible to kill the survival mode boss (I'm almost embarrassed to admit it) It just takes a LONG time and is more about endurance. If you're planning on doing it make sure you go to toilet BEFORE, grab a drink, perhaps make a playlist of songs you like. I decided to try it for a laugh thinking I'd die within the first 5 minutes... don't make the same mistake lol. Have screenshots as proof and a strategy if anyone felt like giving it a bash one day. Again, it's not really difficult, just LONG. 5/5, 2 suggestions: GOD PLEASE PUT A PAUSE BUTTON IN (sorry if I missed it, I really hope I haven't) and a better indicator as to show when you can act -- I found myself clicking a skill too early, as it wasn't very clear when I could use it.
Thanks for the fast response, Abra24. Unfortunately I have already tried the steps listed, and others :( I know it's not your fault dude, so I won't change my rating because of it :)
I also lost my save today, been playing it days (maybe over a week?) and I was approaching level 70 :( I really hope you can restore our saves, I know it's an idle game but I feel gutted :(
It was really fun but I detest having to start all over again after dying, I wish you had the option to revive at the start of the floor you died on. I don't think I'll play it again unless a save gets implemented, which is a shame as I was really enjoying myself. Nice enemies. I wish that potions were only acquired when you click on them, not walk through them. It would also be nice to see how much you've spent on each attribute, so you have a record of how to apportion points better. A mini-map which shows where you've walked would be amazing, which would also mean you could fade the monsters after they die as we wouldn't need them as 'landmarks' anymore (sometimes goodies are hiding behind carcasses)
Easily a 3/5 for the fun I had, could be an easy 5/5 with in the very least a save option. Keep it up, you obviously have a talent for making this type of game! :)
Many thanks for so detailed response! I will try to make the following part much more interestingly, more conveniently and more long!
