Interesting concept, it would be nice if there was a toggle grid lines display option as sometimes it can be tricky to visualise what the game sees as squares, that way you can toggle it off once you 'see' them to just see the interesting way the terrain makes the field up. It might be worth adding that ice paths count as required squares to pass as it wasn't clear to me, though that could just be me missing the obvious :p Thanks for the interesting game!
This seemed interesting but I don't like how you can't skip the credits or any dialogue if you fail, the amount of time it takes to get back to where you were is very discouraging. Perhaps implement check-points and ask the player if they wish to continue or start over might fix this, and an option to click through text so we're not staring at a speech-bubble for ages would make this more re-playable. It looks like you've put effort into this and it does say it's your first release, so I wish you well in the future :)
Thank you for the feedback!
I would like to make updates and that is a perfect suggestion.
Thank you giving constructive comments.
*UPDATE FIXED*
Added a little option at the start to go to different
spots in the game!
Really enjoyed it, thanks! :D My main gripe was constant mis-clicking on the circuit puzzle, it could just be me but it felt as though it never really matched the current item's hit-box. Perhaps either just change it to a regular pointer for that part, or make the tip of the object as it would be on a regular cursor. Other than that, loved the style and hope to see more from you! :)
Beautiful, thank you for this experience. I also thought the stars and shadow puzzle was interesting, took me a while to get the hang of it but it gave me an 'aha!' moment once solved :) 5/5
Looks interesting and I'll definitely be back to give it a proper play if/when you implement a non-countdown mode :) First impression is it looks and feels very smooth and pleasant to play, great job on the sleek graphics, movement and subtle-but-'there' sounds :)
I loved this and gave it 4 stars, it would have been a 5 but I have to agree that the end boss is frustrating. It would have been a great challenge but it feels like they de-sync too often, by this I don't mean a quick change of attack or pattern (which would have just been tricky and fun) but it's like they 'scramble' in some way. I'm not really sure how to explain it, but one example is planning for the fist attack and still taking damage from it even when you've cleared the hit-box, and its fist is just suddenly 1/4 of the way above you. The rest was wonderful and I can't imagine the time, effort and love this took. Hope to see more from you!
Could we have a warning before pressing Escape, please? I thought it paused the game/opened a menu but I just lost all my progress :( Aside from that, this game feels incredible to play. The atmosphere, graphics and music are beautiful which match the intense-feeling gameplay really well :D Good luck with the future of this game, which I hope will be very interesting to see unfold.
Loved it, I normally don't like this play-style and thought it was going to be another flappy style game, but this made you feel you had more control and was really enjoyable! I hope you make more of this, was a little sad when I realised it was suddenly over. A couple of critiques I have are it would be nice if it would remember the ship you prefer so you don't have to re-select it every time you get a new one, and the controls explanation could be more accurate and clear when a new mechanic is introduced (eg. gun, bomb) 5/5!
Another feedback - a warning before clicking the 'reset' button would be great, perhaps another reset button on the other side of the screen will appear saying 'are you sure?' and the current reset button will say 'cancel'. I decided to test it early so I wouldn't lose too much and could give feedback - I appreciate you give a 'what will happen?' hover menu, but 1. Hover menus can have a delay and 2. it won't help with accidental clicks.
@MrUnecht - Goodness me that was fast! :D Thank you so much for this, not only did you implement it but it works REALLY well, the game is fun, smooth and comfortable now :) Improved my rating to 4 stars, off I go to defend more space! ;)
It feels like it could be interesting, but I only played a couple of rounds as the incessant clicking got annoying for me. It would be great if there was an auto-fire option, or at the very least press-and-hold to fire would be nice. It looks and sound nice, great start! :)
Great game! :) I found a bug - when I click the sink after acquiring the candy to see if I could do more with the water, it awarded me candy for every time I clicked the water (you can 'win' the game this way) I wasn't that far in so refreshing the page to play it properly was no big deal, but I thought you might like to know about it :)
Was surprised at how much I enjoyed that, very simple but compelling :) Was refreshing to have a match 3 with a traditional story-like feel to it without everything flashing in your face all the time. 4/5, would be great to see a more fleshed-out sequel with maybe quest paths, a campaigns etc. :) Keep it up!
Nice puzzles, I just wish it would remember your sequence and tile configuration as it can be frustrating having to re-do everything should you make a mistake. This is particularly apparent on the de-synced moving platforms levels. Would also be nice to have enter/space to continue to the next level so you don't have to use the mouse unless you need to set up tiles :)
After playing this a while longer, I think a nice feature to implement (maybe when contest is over) is to have a personal 'Tome' or some-such where you can visit the Glyphs you've made :) And if there are ones that you're particularly proud of, there could be a special Tome you could add them to. (Also perhaps an option to delete ones that you're not so proud of, to stop them cluttering the good submissions to the game)
Love this idea! At first I was picking spells that I thought would be powerful in combat, saw the newspaper and realised my mistake xD No pyroblast for you, you get rainbows, sandwiches and clothes! Move along, please :p 4/5, would love to see this expanded on. SPell suggestion seeing how you were asking for them at the end: Mass Hallucination. (Has the potential to go very right or very wrong in the papers! xD ) Name - Just my Kong name :)
Love the game as a whole, I thought I'd end up skipping the Glyph parts, but the second I put a pixel down I end up going into my own little world hehe. Would be really interesting to see user submissions for this game (the Kong ones where you can rate them/see the larger picture), to see others creativity with relatively simple tools which are the same for all :)
I keep going to close this because as others have said, it's gets boring very quickly and there's no real goal/not much to do... then the TV changes and then I end up doing another race from profit while reading it, the psychic hotline with Melvin is great x'D Main annoyance was the 'click here!' message everytime I return to that screen. Because of that... I'm gonna put your ketchup in the freezer and wait 'til you have fries :p
