Ugh, played over a dozen attempts, my highest is lvl 11, no end in sight, can't deal with these massive groups of fast, ranged, teleporting/summoning mobs...
@ toddlercuddler you can merge gems, merely place multiple gems of the same kind on a blank-socketed item and THEN disenchant it, there's a chance you'll lose it this way but it's the best (only) way to combine gems
Some criticism:
1) poison is overpowered
2) there isn't really any viable builds using INT or AGI, everything is just STR/VIT
3) I would like a buy-back option as I accidentally unequipped my weapon and sold it accidentally, destroyed that run
Regardless this was really enjoyable to play, keep up the good work!
Kitlid Magus focusing on INT and WILL, just nuke everything with "Ignite" and for Bosses / fire immune enemies use "Swarm" to whittle them down. Beware chargers and burst damagers as this build has very little actual health.
Also Vampire Fighter focusing on STR / STAM gets pretty far as well, eventually you deal so much damage you outheal the damage you take. Beware large crowds and ranged enemies though.
Is there a reason the Disenchanters you get in dungeons don't work? Got a 12-slot and a 20-slot DE and it shows this in my Storage and in Loot screens, but in Equip, where you have to go to use them, their descriptions are blank (except sell price) and I can't use them at all... Also, do the stat % caps (under Buffs screen) actually work? I'd like to have more than 63% max Lifesteal with 1000 mysticism :/
Okay, gonna give a serious review of my first playthrough: I found the different enemies and modes/missions very engaging and enjoyable. The melee weapons seemed very redundant as soon as I got the bow upgraded, just carried the 2h axe with me in case I got swarmed, but other than that all I used was bow. I dislike the glitch where you find a master and bring them to the tavern, yet the game says you did not, then you have to play missions over and over in an attempt to get the game to save that you /actually did/ save the masters (#4 and 5 had this problem). The amount of lag in this game was painful, to say the least, really fun and engaging combat turned into agonizing groan-inducing lag-fests where I sat there and waited for my arrow to hit zombie #40 of 100 20minutes into the zone... The lag, and the glitches really hurt the amount of sheer /fun/ I got to experience in this game, it's a 3/5 from me.
My god, this game is such a grind towards the end, basically have to farm low levels until you can afford all upgrades to beat last couple of cities 100%, would of gotten a higher mark if it wasn't such a boringly painful grind, also surprisingly really laggy, ran like shit even on the lower levels, let alone the 200+ population levels, good god, 2/5
Got 100% complete testing, did all the levels, got the email congratulating me, and yet the "Win the Game" achievement isn't being awarded to me, HELP!
