Ellder is the worst. Although he has the longest range and the fastest attacks, his damage is low and the range of his attacks vary on a too big scale to be effective during survival or gladiator - when you'd need a long-range attack, it is possible that he will do his shortest-range attack, and the range of the other two's attacks are quite constant.
My problem with Toldor was that although his damage is the best on average and has a quite big reach, too, his attacks are far too slow, a lot slower than the other two's. This means that enemies can get close to you between attacks and kill you easily (see method for killing the two handed swordsman gladiator: block and after any overhead swing launch a counterattack and block again, using this you'll kill him without taking damage, and that gladiator is a Toldor clone).
The reason why Aldon is the best is that he has the deadliest combo of abilities. He can block while moving and is very quick, so after a forward attack you can switch to backwards attack so quickly that most enemies can't even hurt you (watch out for whirlers and spearmen, though). And it is also good that he has the most health and his attacks are almost as powerful as Toldor's attacks, but Aldon can sometimes hit for even more damage than the orc. His shorter reach does not matter compared to such awesome abilities.
Killersin, Prince Aldon is not complicated to use at all. Mostly, you'll need only backwards swipe simultaneously, and sometimes a sudden forward swipe. Almost all enemies will be killed with this with minimal losses. It is the easiest with Aldon. I've got the badge playing Toldor after hours of practice, and after that I became very angry as I tried it with Prince Aldon and could do that at the third try. I've written to a topic (not new topic, perhaps Warlords' Heroes gladiator guide discussion it was, on last page) that how to kill them (first with Toldor, after with Aldon). Check it out if you need help or if you are curious that how I've done it.
If you've played gladiator mode, kkabc, you know that this is not true. There are plenty of enemies which are a lot quicker than you and kick you and attack you before you could do anything with Toldor. That's why Aldon is a lot better with his block-during-move thing.
In my style, the easiest is Prince Aldon and he -also- looks like a fighter. No other character can block while moving, and this gives Aldon the biggest advantage.
Pursit, it is possible with Toldor, I wrote how to each enemy in the forum topic "Gladiator Guide" (or something like that). I think, though, Aldon is the best with his block-during-move modes, and he can often damage even more than Toldor and much faster.
To impossible badge (gladiator mode): For a lot of enemies, there is a great tactics: Get close to it (the most difficult part, the second part need only concentration and quickness), then kick it until it get its knee dislocated. Then hit it, and kick it instantly, again until it gets it. Do it constantly and you'll rarely get a hit, but you'll damage it slowly, but you will certainly win.
About the three characters (which is the best):
Ellder: Average damage, excellent quickness and range
Aldon: Good damage, short range, good speed
Toldor: Excellent damage, average range, very slow
I believe that Ellder is the ideal choice for beginners, as he can keep almost any attackers at a distance, keeping them from attacking, with long reaching, quick attacks. Aldon is the best, however, counting his unique ability of being able to block during moving (if we choose the right skills, however I prefer jumping thrust more than shield charge), and Toldor is a bad choice as very slow and is unable to even fight against a fast enemy like Elite Halberdier, High Court Guardian or Possessed Royal Guardian.
agentwerewolf: Queen and Grinder are missing, and a secret one, the legendary Razor Queen. Queen is the most difficult to kill as there is a very short period of time in what you can hit her.
I couldn't really decide that who was my favourite character. Perhaps Aldon was, but only with a very little. His shield charge, jumping thrust and shield bash stab are both excellent.
However, I think that Razor Queens are a lot easier to kill than simple Queens. While Razor Queens need only patience and practice, simple queens are virtually impossible to hit.
A grinder is far less powerful than it seems to be. If you don't have razor glaive, you'll have to wait until it runs into meltie acid, or weaken its hide with a grenade, make it to run into a gray or a torchie. After that, five swings kill it (two with razor glaive, but its hide can be weakened by razor glaive).
An easy way to kill the final boss. Things needed: Stop time from Nebula Shop, Darkness energy charge from legendary shop, infinite bonus 2 from legendary shop, and it is very good if you have that rare weapon transformer from legendary shop. If you have these, replay level 19 until you can get a megaton laser (blue laser if you have rare weapon transformer) and after that a double fire (will give a double megaton/blue laser) and keep it until the end (means that you don't take any other weapon bonuses). Than, due to your Infinite weapon 2, you keep the double laser, and than start level 20. When Genu comes to screen with its whole ship, press both D and M, get close to it to make all four lasers to hit it, and keep this state. Before your energy runs out, you will win.
3000000 robot can be killed if you stop time and shoot it.
For both, having faster energy recharge is good.
Hey, what about Amorphous 2? I thought about it. Its appearance would be perfectly the same, but with some new enemies (and awards, of course). For example, what about things what could shoot paralysing darts (unable to move or to attack, but won't die when something bumps to you), flyers who lunge as biters but can't be attacked during lunge, things similar to stickies what would not slow you down but make you unable to walk around (however could attack). Just some ideas what popped up in me, but it would be really good, I think.
Smegger: 8 combo can be done. Make yourself engulfed totally by clutter babies, shake them off and attack right after that. 3000 points is not difficult, easier with bounty run.
Cheasesandwitch: When it attacks with its giant spike, dodge it and attack the gray's body before the spike is fully extended. Do it three times (needed only one with razor glaive).
GrandpaSeth18: It is highly rated because it's good. It seems very hard but it can be done with some practice. At first, I thought I will never get the impossible badge. After a time, I returned to the game and tried it again. That time I kept practicing, and I learned that what I have to do with different ones. And after that, it becomes VERY entertaining and addicting. I think that this is one of the best online games ever.
