wow, really good actually
-i'd upgrade the player speed
-for some bosses (third one specifically) the guide is off screen and you can't tell which sign to hit
-the art is really good, but the animation is kinda blah, if the protagonist was a geometric object or something without any animation i feel it'd fit better
but really it's a solid game, i had a blast, felt a ton like titan souls
Thanks for the feedback! The guide should only be failing to show the correct circle before you get the first hit on the third boss. The idea is to show the player where they'd be without the guide, but there is an obscure trick to get around it. I see what you're saying about the geometric object - I can already visualize a sequel with a more geometric aesthetic.
This game had beautiful design. I especially like the first room, where the only thing you said was that you can hold left click to block, and simply by understanding player psychology you knew we'd figure out the rest of the controls on our own. It's a very powerful tutorial. The game is super easy to pick up and very intuitive, and feels great throughout it. Truly one of the best games I've played on Kong.
For what it's worth I liked the concept. I don't know if you plan on fleshing this out further but this could be a great idle game with more work.
You can look at this for ideas: http://orteil.dashnet.org/cookieclicker/
But like others have said, it was way too short and way too simple to be worthwhile. I hope you go somewhere with this.
The classic vertical platformer: Go up, don't fall. Overally, very bland, VERY low sound, and very unoriginal. If you're going to recreate a typical game, do it in a fun way. So far, I only see two types of platforms. Boring. 1/5.
Ya, sorry to copy a comment, but in the original it was unclear what to do after you reach the microphone, so I had to clear it up a bit. Rate both up, because they both are the same solution.
If you want to play, right click on the game. Click on settings. Click on the microphone box, then right click the rectangular box that tells you what microphone you are using. Once the full right click menu is up, then click "Play," and the game will work. Rate up so people stop worrying about this problem.
This game is just...wrong. To say that this is the computer version of DDR is to insult every DDR game. Ever. This is just stupid and slow. I got bored and finished after nearly 15 seconds. This barely deserves .5/5.
This wasn't really that fun. I couldn't quite figure it out. I would prefer more obvious ways to discover how many neighbors each fungus has. Also, there are too many individual fungi to find out where to put them, or to keep track of every fungi. It's simply too much. 1/5.
This was kind of fun, but it isn't really that great. The trogs were too fast and the playing area too small. It gave you no time to react. The comments at the end were fun too. However, given the limited room and the ease of loss makes this game too much. 2/5.
This game has good graphics and idea for a flash game, but using the mouse to drag each limb makes this game too slow paces. I just game up on the game. It's boring and repetitive. I give it a 2/5, because it is an interesting concept with good art.
This game definitely needs work. The anchors are far to small to hit when you accelerate more than 1 MPH. It is very tricky, and lacks much of a plot. It is an interesting concept, but is somewhat underdeveloped. 1.5/5.
This game was less than enjoyable. The difficulty, even on normal, was quite difficult, and you can never tell where he is going to shoot. Also, the controls are slightly awkward, like replacing intuitive controls such as "D" for dive or "S" for shoot with counter-intuitive controls like clicking to dive. I did enjoy fighting, but even that could have been much more epic than it currently is. The only good controls were the arrow keys, and those are a minor part of the game. 1/5.
This game would have been good, but it is too hard with track pad. I didn't like it too much. The option of several different things is good though, and my favorite is zombie. It has a lot of variety in guns, outfit, and enemies, and it was fun. However, the track pad difficulty took this from 4 to 3/5. Better luck next time.
This game was dreadful. I don't know whether it was the game or the computer, but it would not go right or left. It was sad. I could only go up and down. When I was lucky enough to manage to go left or right, it was so sensitive I just went to the other end of the screen. So I never really got to play. It was quite upsetting. So I give this game a 1/5.
I can read it fine.
