Hi there, this is an idle game, it's probably different than other genres and takes a bit of getting used to. You start by gathering some resources manually from the Population tab, do a little initial research, build some huts for your people to allow them room to grow and then have them do the job for you (hence the idleness). You might like it if you give it a chance :)
The texts are all placed in the correct place but, because of the way they are rendered in the game, if you zoom in or out the webpage they tend to move outside their squares, therefore if you zoom in or out on your page until you reach the normal size (100% scale) you should be able to enjoy the game properly :)
