It's a fun game that is exploring some new potentials, but they still require some work. I really like the ability to make your own house, but it costs to much and does too little. The hammer is over 600 gold and only lets you take one furnature, or even just a piece if it's two tiles big and the pick only gives you one piece of wall. This way it takes ages to scrounge your house together and for nothing more then the satisfaction of knowing how patient you were. My advice would be to allow more pieces to be scrounged with the tools that actually give a bit of a bonus, which can be simple enough as +1% leech or other. Also I'd say you can get a bunch of furnature from the shop without having to scrounge, but the better stuff should be dungeon only. Again, I like the idea, but I do think it has much more potential as done here.
This game is alike to Dungeon Keeper, which was an awesome game in it's days. It just needs more units and a better AI that doesn't suiciderun as Darkruler says. It does need some form of unit control but doesn't have to be much. Even in Dungeun Keeper you could pick up units and other stuff while in your own influence zone. This made defending somewhat easier then attacking and when you had nothing to do you could always go on a goldrun yourself.
