Since managing to eat the majority of the sushi in level 13, Sushi Cat has been stuck between all of the moving platforms so the level can't be finished. Apparently, moderation is important!
This game is wonderful in that it follows the role of a villain. The gameplay and concept are fantastic, but each level will only give you so much to work with. You really have to pick and choose which bonuses you want to get to get any meaningful result in the later levels. That system is a bit skewed in the heroes' favor. Perhaps if gold could be accumulated across the levels it would become a little bit less of a hassle (although I think it would lean more towards a slaughter). Great game overall, but only ever so slightly turned off by the near-100% stock levels. I'd like to see more from this developer
I have some serious issues with this game. AI speeds aren't consistent, they "boost" to suddenly get ahead of you or to just stay right on your tail and lag horribly when you're behind, taunting you. The game is based on a 1st place only policy, there are far too many banana obstacles in level three and is probably the most failed level, and a few other issues. Love the concept, but completely despise the gameplay. 3/5
I like this kind of game, but was somewhat disappointed in the Tetrisphere rip-off (but if you somehow thought of it yourself then bravo, excellent game) but some constructive criticism that I could offer is that when you hover over a place that would cause pieces to shatter, change the glow to something else? Love the game, but not so great on originality unless you never heard of Tetrisphere. 4/5
I might add a cue to whether you will cause an explosion or not, indeed. I actually think I had that in one of the iterations of the game. About Tetrisphere, I have heard of it and played it when I was a kid but it makes me rather sad that everyone feels that I've ripped it off when the game is really nothing like it except for how it looks. There's really not much you can do with cubes on a ball to make it look different you know. Bothered me enough to write a blog post about it. http://southgrove.net/post/11598290604/orbical-vs-tetrisphere
Now this upsets me. It's one thing to ask for money throughout the game, but to prevent players from continuing after playing so many days? BS. Big time. If this game didn't have that it'd be a 4.5/5, but because of the audacity of the developer, it's dropped to a 2/5 and is a 2 only because of the great gameplay
