Kinda enjoyed the complacency of this up until the mid-game, where everything is costing and you're getting no gain. It turns into a waiting game, and if I have to wait too long, I may as well do something else... 4* though, nice implementation, poor middle-game.
Quite possibly the most vague thing ever. The last time I left a game this quickly was when I'd broke wind and forgot I'd had eggs! Admittedly I left the room to be safe, but this is as vague as the cloud of semi-toxic gas I had to wade through to escape... I'm safe now, so far...
Kinda got stuck in the ceiling... when you get past the platform going down there's no left wall in the next room - I wondered if that was some secret and now I'm stuck and can't suicide o.O
@spamsidian: You're not 'actively' competing against anyone, just the best time 'of the day' should you choose to complete that badge. Friends are only required as 'tokens' for the shooting ranges and the one-time special, and to be honest, the shooting ranges aren't much cop. You're doing the whole thing by yourself the whole time. Add me if you feel you want to continue and need an extra 'token' (",)
Nicely put 11leerling... I had to bite my tongue. It's sad to see so many thankless people who think their spare time is worth more than the money and man-hours put into making this. Not only are they getting it for free, but they want it all *right now*... If they play it properly, they'll have more than enough exp. to see them through.
No end of glitches the Webley MKVI: Clicked the barrel straight after removing the chamber, separated the chamber and the barrel snapped back on! // Removed the Cam Lever screw earlier and dismantled the rest of the gun before wanting to finish the barrel and then I got stuck... clicking 'hint' told me I hadn't done the Cam Lever Screw... The Steam version is a late let-down; not so much if you're new to the game - but if that's the case, go to Steam... go!
For everyone else, moving to Steam is going to be another soulless grind from scratch, and it's just not worth the effort - plus, it's a lot easier making friends here...
TL;DR - Steam: too little, too late.
When do the powers actually work? Are they random? Help is virtually non-existent for this bugger... especially if you come back to it as, short of deleting everything, you have no way of refreshing what was already shown.
nadrewood999: That's not the point I was making; it's no use going for Champion if your accuracy is off - you'll only get frustrated quicker. Make sure you can do the thing without making mistakes (especially with the 'sticky-click' glitch) in the first place, then build up speed. You'll also get the sniper bonus added in while getting a faster time (",)
Sanmei: You can add people regardless of profile settings by going to your friends/fans list (head and shoulders icon next to messages, up at the top right) and adding the name to the 'Add a Friend' box, followed by clicking 'Add'.
Ah, cheers XavierBK. Didn't know one existed - I wish I had before making a similar table of weapons to train myself for the quiz (I guess I've been bogged down in playing and researching projects rather than noticing real-life stuff) - the wikia can be found here, for those who can't work Google: http://gundisassembly.wikia.com/wiki/Gun_Disassembly_Wiki
Shooting Range Tactics... Some, like 2 and 4, event though they have the timer running, you're not against the clock; and even though it says "Hit every target", on the pop-ups, you can just ignore the far ones and shoot the closest (you'll miss randomly more often on the far ones anyway, losing points even though you're pixel perfect). So take your time on those two, and shoot what you're guaranteed to hit (on R1-S3 just shoot the two front middle targets, if you have the patience). Others, like Range 6 (Gods only know why they're numbered so erratically), you're against the clock, and bullets, so it's a bit hit and miss - badum tiss!
david12999: You can pay for credits, or you can do it the long way...
Every time you get 1st place with a new weapon you'll get 1 credit (92 possible, for now) - to get first place, just keep at the same weapon until you get a reasonable time with no mistakes or hints and you'll stand a good chance ~ Just check back throughout the day as the scores are reset at a random time - if you get lucky, you can get top place by taking your time AND making mistakes, as long as you get there before anyone else (I got 6x 1st places in one day like that - the rest; I'm getting faster)...
There's also the Special Mission(?), where you get 8 or so friends and you'll get 20 credits + 20,000 exp.
Firing Range is a pain in the arse if you just want to restart the current sequence while in full screen mode. You have to Esc out of full screen, Esc out of the game, back out of the range (clearing all scores), enter full screen again, enter the firing range again, start scoring from scratch... Why can't there just be a 'Quit current range' button?!
Will you people who complain about the cost of everything just take a minute to think about what goes into something like this... If is pi$$es you off so much, go play one of the other 14,000+ games on here, or realise that this guy has to get hold of the weapon. Strip it down. make a 3D model of every part of it. Code it into a 3D space with strip-down mechanic. The coding itself is far from easy, nor is the acquiring weapon specs enough to make it work. While I wholeheartedly agree it's not cheap - nor is the PC only version at 150% the price. Simple rule. Play it, or don't. Bitch all you want; it won't change anything - code your own if it means so much to you; maybe then you'll realise just how much it costs to make something like this... Shut the hell up, or move the hell on. Kids today... Obviously never waited for C64 to to load a game...
Even at 1/50th speed, as soon as you pull the trigger, by the next frame, the bullet* would already be 20 feet away so, no, you wouldn't see it. Get over it.
