You don't need skillpoints to counter the speed deduction. You have ANY excess speed saved, you spend it on the marines for stim. Even with 0 prestige, getting every speed till the elementals ends with several hundred saved up speed.
Dodge/precision seems to be broken. With no precision, I get a clean 50% hit rate on Wraiths, with the 7.5% precision from Thiefs it's suddenly around 33%.
@daR0NN Look through the comments, the best ones have been written down already. Always focus on 1 resource at once, getting mediocre linear rewards from 2 at a time is just inefficient.
This is pretty nice, though even if it's just a short prototype, an simple ending at the end would be nice. I got every upgrade, it's slowly feeding humans forever. Ok, and?
Controls become conflicted with upgrade selection and mouse control(selecting upgrade often moves me into enemies if I don't turn back to WASD). It would be nice if we could also select upgrades with something like 1-2-3.
The level 120 skill is completely useless if one of the pairs is at level 0. Nimble stacks are useless from Counter if they give +0%, stamina multiplier does nothing if Riposte is at 0, and guaranteed Crits are worthless if Combo is at 0.
The game seems great so far, but I think the notification system needs an overhaul. It's really hard to see when attacks are coming, and worst of all, the notification disappears after a quicksave.
A pause would be really needed, the game is fast paced enough at the current rate that it's impossible to manage everything.
2 tips for the first challenge:
You don't need to stay away from getting generator 2 and higher, when you start the challenge those are simply disabled, preventing you from getting any.
Increasing the pixel limit has it's uses, as the game tick count sets a limit on your income otherwise. Always increase the limit till there's a smooth animation.
