Genuinely, a game that's aged very well. I love how it's become even more challenging, and it's fun to just pop in, do a couple levels, see a new complicated ball, bail, and then return a little while later to figure out the puzzle. And the best part? I know that once I beat it, I can come back a week later and still get stumped a couple of times. Just always a great, simple, fun game that I'll always be able to enjoy (\(^o^)/)
Holy crap that second ending though I played through both paying him and not and wow the different reactions in each with so much left to the imagination is amazing. I love this game so much and even free play is so enjoyable to just mindlessly play for hours. But man readjusting to play without optimized speeds and shortcuts was so painful I kept forgetting I had to type everything out lol
I wish it was possible to interchange skill points. I've maxed at 50 and grabbed the wrong demon spell (scourge burst instead of gargoyle), and now I'm unable to get the medal using gargoyle.
That was such a wholesome story. It's a little sad that there were only two actual choices, but it was still wonderful to go through! I'd love to see more of something like this. Awesome work!
I love the deep meaning in this game, and while yes, the gameplay is rather slow, I feel like it just adds to the meaning. If we moved quickly or dreamed quickly, the meaning in 'take your time to reach your goal' would be lost. And sure we might get lost (although I managed to keep on the right path) but that's just another obstacle we have to overcome to reach our goals. All in all, a lovely game done in a beautiful style.
A little frustrating sometimes, but that's a part of it's charm. Just wish there wasn't inverted controls when going upside down, although that's only a pet peeve, and it would be fun to have more levels with that gun thing. Still, awesome game!
If you get that NaN:0Na time as a best score for something, does that mean the achievement becomes impossible to reach? I got to 1e^20 gains in under 12 hours but my best time won't change from that weird thing and I can't get the achievement. Do I have to reset everything??
I feel like this needs an award for completion because I feel beyond proud of myself for completing. Also, I felt the need to type the 'thank you' at the end because of this game.
@mvm900 Perhaps, but the disease may have killed all aboard the boat and it is merely running on whatever is left and autopilot, aimlessly driving through it's course until it runs out of fuel. Or, say, there is no infection aboard, what happens when you run out of food and water and fuel? Eventually that boat will just be an empty boat.
