The legend says that blue coins DO have a purpose, and increase the chance of getting a magic coin in that same level you got the blue coin.
However, this is a legend, and not proven.

To help get the impossible badge; on Dash Hopes 3 the Number row (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0) is only used 4 times. Ignore that row and only play with the bottom 4.
