EPIC WAR 4 IS NOT LATE!!! CHECK THE DEVELOPER. HE SAYS THAT IT IS JULY 2010. THE UPDATE IS WRONG. STOP WHINING ABOUT IT BEING LATE WHEN IT IS ONLY JULY 1ST.
@luisveloz Of course it will come out on Kongregate. The reason it is not yet out is that it probably has some technical difficulties that the creators are working out. I waited 3 years for God of War 3 to come out and the reason that it took so long was because some idiots sued them for stealing images which they did not do. Just because it is not out when expected does not mean it isn't coming out on ps3/kongregate.
I've tried the above combinations for level 5 and they didn't work for me. This is what worked for me... Units: Centaur, Witch, Mermaid, Succubus, Ghost Armor, Black Knight. Spells: Lightning Bolt, Hercules Strength, Comet, Healing Wave, Phoenix, Freeze Trap. I DO NOT recommend Athena's protection because it definitely does not make you invincible and certainly has no advantage against the invincible goblin. Get as many ranged units as possible so they an push back the goblin, but leave room for at least 2 units to attack the castle. The freeze trap and lightning bolt are important because they will stop the goblin for a few seconds. The cannon for some reason DOES NOT push back the goblin so it is useless. Last note: Use the last hero because he has 3500 health.
There should be more achievements for this game. I liked the first two better because of the mana. I like that there are more troops in this game, but I do not like the idea of set mana. The charge time leaves this game to be way to easy. At least it was possible to lose in the first two games. I liked upgrading in the first game the best, and personally, cards do not belong in the epic war series. This game was a disappointment to me and I wish they would have done more with it. It is fun at first, but it gets way too repetitive. The caves are not hard, they are just long. I liked how there was a storyline in the second one and it was a mistake to take it out in the third. Overall, epic war 1 gets a 4/5, epic war 2 gets a 5/5, and epic was 3 gets a 3/5. I am just rating the game so do not down rate my comment for explaining the rating instead of "This game rocks!" or "This game sucks."
this is a retarded game. What a waste. This is it? Epic war 1 and 2 were much better. This is just pathetic. Sorry creators, but card games suck, go back to the old scheme for epic war 4.
The last boss is called the lord of hell. He has 3.2 million health and he STAYS AT HIS CASTLE. Use the elves. Their titan (the forest guardian) does the best by far against him. The battle takes over an hour. Use the forest guardian, the red dragon, the dryads, healers, and cannons. If you upgrade at the right times, this battle is easy. Oh, the boss slams his fist to the ground every few minutes causing 500-1k damage at your castle. Good Luck.
