You get movement from actions in areas the require movement to get to. The easiest area to get your movement investment back from is the library. Also you get a movement point upon completing some progression milestones.
It's a lot faster the second time, but mushrooms are still slow as hell. I'm missing sludge slime and phantom whale, maybe one of those can provide... All of the other rare summons are really useful!
@Awesomenot: I confessed, and got into a long talk that cost a lot of destiny, and just gave a bit of destiny cap in return if I recall correctly. I didn't notice any later effects. You can try exporting your save and check out both options. Also sometimes it is helpful to check the story tab to see where decisions may lead, but I think on your first run you can only unlock the "standard" ending anyway, so it wont make a huge difference.
Also I think you should not worry about graduating early, it wont help you. And after graduating and beating the dragon there comes a new reset to the beginning of the game with bonuses, where you only keep your monsters and astral world upgrades, as well as your titles and attacks, and some unlocks (eating stays unlocked, but the stat boosts are gone). So it doesn't matter so much what you did before. There are some good bonuses, so the next playthrough will be faster.
Stats with which I can beat the dragon with a lot of luck are: HP 6M, Attack 8.6M, Def 2.7M (enough to survive an attack if not hit by breath first), MAttack is not used, MDef 2.3M (no idea if it is used).
To beat dragon I used the passive of the silver scale dragon rare summon from ancient ruins, which I was lucky enough to get, and quite a few tries. I'm a warrior, so Silver Scale dragon just gives me a big boost to attack and defense, both physical and magical (about +250 at the time). Then it was just a matter of putting myself and my upgraded iron golem (both with sharp spike skill, fast weak attack) last in the party and hoping for just the right attacks by the dragon. It would probably have been possible with other stat boosting allies like ogre, white wolf, and so on, and a few more stat upgrades from astral world. Iron Golem also gives stats from scrap metal. There is some text that you need to find a way to prevent the breath attack, but I haven't figured out how. The dragon also didn't put up his veil when I beat him, which I think requires that he's over half HP when he has killed off most of the party and just the good attackers remain, and then starts a flying sequence.
I'm done with gourmet man chicken and honey. After beating dragon I got a new gourmet man quest for eggs, which I haven't done yet. Muscle man is done. No sandwich so far. :(
Actually I don't think it's a bug. Someone mentioned you can get the ability to cook it in Area 5 (spirit spring), but I passed that area and haven't been able to find it. I still have one upgrade action left there, the water spirit, but that's probably not the way to get it. So I'm probably missing something else.
Usually you should not buy stuff from the left column. Doppelganger is probably the best upgrade. Bonuses to sacred or dark ritual are nice, and status boost is really good for advancing faster. Automation upgrades (auto level especially) are important, and the party slot is really really good. Eventually you also want bonuses to research and seed drops.
I don't have the fire spirit action in spirit spring that is required by the spirit king. Water and earth have both disappeared at 3/5. Any pointers on how to unlock it? I'm already well into the next area and haven't gotten the action. I'm a fighter if that makes any difference.
Prestige spoilers:
small speed boost = 100 speed
small damage boost = 1 damage
small regeneration boost = 0.1 regeneration
Haven't seen the others yet.
@dev: it would be nice to show the prestige effects before you choose.
Another thing: in theory of magic, a very similar game, there are many choices, but they are not equally well developed, and there is no way to know for the player which are useful and not. Please don't go that way, if you have multiple paths they should be equally well developed and useful, or the players should know in advance exactly what they are going to get. It's better to have just one or two paths that are well done than 6 half-assed ones. I have only tried the sorcerer path, which so far seems alright, just saying please keep this problem in mind.
Promising game, I like it. What bothered me a little (and is oinly going to get worse) is that it's hard to find the option you want in the shop, dungeon list, skill list, any list really. And this is only going to get worse. Larger icons, larger text, larger play area in general, and some sort of structure would be good. Also: hide maxed in abilities, shop and dungeon list. And maybe a way to mark some dungeons as favorites which are then displayed in bold or with a colored background or something, and maybe an option to only display favorites.
Can we get buy 10 and buy max for expeditions? Doing a few is a pain because of waiting for the transaction. And even without the transaction it would be nice to be able to buy a bunch of expeditions at once.
I'm not sure what you mean with buying expeditions. I assume you're talking about starting them. There will be some changes to the expeditions soon, which should make this obsolete.
Thank you for your feedback:) I'll add sort function in the future update or in the completed version.
