do not upgrade sofa until you upgrade other stuff!!! otherwise the sofa becomes larger and larger and it becomes quadratically difficult to pick up coins.
Isn't 32x speed boost at 100 diamonds pointless: if I purchase 2x speed boost at 20 diamonds 5 times it should be the same (although i haven't tried this...)
On a macbook (or macair), you normally use a touch pad and right click isn't supported at all. Quite inconvenient that right click is the only way to nuke a plant.
Here is one early strategy: 1) invest in food and wood, until 250 farms, 100k woods, 5 million money. 2) invest in food and tools not woods until you can purchase research center (you may need to unlock the feature, not sure how I did this). 3) invest in food and research center. 4) Now use all your knowledge to increase food and research center production.
Words are not equally distributed, and the longer words gets the more sparsely they are distributed, which ruins the fun I had at the beginning of the game.
Pro tips for the first part: 1) Loots are absolutely ok to sell. Sell them to recruit men. 2) Woods are not used at the beginning but used heavily later for a long time. Try to have extra woodsmen. 3) Once you have reduced times, the best event option is to reduce 10 secs for 1 min.
