@rishi556 I know, its dumb. There is a turn limit (...I think its 30) to defeat the enemy. Each round should show 'turn number / max turns' or similar. Additionally, the game shouldn't determine if the game is going in an infinite loop. Some cases probability is the determining factor if you'll win or not, and it still displays that message. I can't determine if the round automatically ends in a loss if it detects an infinite loop, and you still manage to defeat the enemy. I do recall a while ago it did this, but its hard to reproduce.
Okay... I changed my mind. This is a horrible CCG because of 'random chance'. If 'chance' effect is removed, it'll strictly make this game strategic. There is NO strategy when; 1) your attacks, or enemies defending against an attack, have a 'chance' to miss or be reflected. After missing 20 times in a row, I rage-quit and gave this game a 1 star, which was originally a 5 star because of its unique game mechanics on melee ranged and magic. 2) auto-healing the most damaged monster. There have been countless times where auto-healing doesn't heal a monster that'll die next turn, but instead, heals a monster that could survive 2 more rounds. I am near my wits' end and considering not playing this game. PLEASE + this so the developer can see this and remove 'chance' effects as it is breaking the strategy of the game!
Love this CCG. The elements leave the game feeling very strategic. But my gripe is the constant use of random chance. These kill ALL games. Chance is a pain, and destroys the depth.
A suggestion, remove chance based events, such as Melee can't attack Flying creatures, Ranged always hits flying creatures, remove the 25% chance to ignore ranged attacks when armor card is equipped... among all the other chance based cards. Though, you can keep the Fortune damage chance (was it called chance?), since it sucks anyways :)
Also having the ability to target where an effect happens. Such as Heal, Thrash, and Chance(?). I'm surprised you didn't have random chance with Death or Destroy... such op type cards :p
Love it all... except the damned random level, where in later levels, if you get sucky cards from the start, or stronger enemies spawn... or dreadfully BOTH, you lose. There is strategy their :(
How do you even get the Pitscaler achievement? I tried everything from going to the bottom to top without dying (leaving room and coming back in), hopped on hamster to get through center whole which is impossible without it, and avoided boosters... I CANT get it.
Very nice risk style game. Annoying as hell chasing after the enemies last units. Found a bug. When trying to attack from Kamchatka to Alaska, if you scroll, it deselect Kamchatka, preventing me from attack their.... Just scrolled up to check spelling on Kamchatka, since scroll wheel works, I was able to finish it. xD
Well made, but I hate it. This game has no depth to it. XP system is quite the downgrade from all RPG's, even the horrid ones. The skill system is hugely limited and key shortcuts are all over the place. The only think that stands out is the battle system, which is the only reason I like this game.
Suggestions: Give the players levels, XP is wasted after all skills are learned; Skills should be rethought, no depth or strategical placement early on; WTF is the bottom right counter for?; Not much else to suggest, this game is going to be hard to clean up.
Subpar TD game. Very annoying that any unit won't go for hitting enemy closest to castle, or hitting enemies that are running away while all units seem to stack on one of them. The most annoying, by far, is archers are targeting ground units while flying units go by.
A suggestion, give the player the ability to select how units prioritize attacks; Flying units, strongest/weakest unit, farthest/closest to hut, not/is being attacked.
I'm giving this game a very weak score, 3/5, as it just seems like another clone of the more popular, more in-depth, TD games. The turn based feature is something new to the TD genre, but how you presented it is REALLY weak. You should improve on this, somehow :)
It's okay if you think the game is subpar, but it's not okay if you accuse this game as a clone of that more popular, more in depth TD game that you have in mind. We are developer of "Defender Chronicles", an iPhone game that we released on 2009. We have been working very hard on this game for almost a year and this is not clone of any other game out there. It's not even a clone of its original ancestor, "Defender Chronicles" this is purely a derivative game of the former.
Check this url, check the gameplay video there, you should be able to see the resemblance.
Pisses me off that it resets the WHOLE GAME if you want to try a different hole. 1/5 until changed, or a better warning instead of just "LOSE progress". Should be more like "LOSE ALL progress"
If it were possible, I'd rate this -5/5
Pure random = Fail Game. Boss fight is unbearable, and literally is only there to piss the @#$% out of you. There is no real strategy, just hopefully you can use defense or counterattack when appropriate.
If a game could commit suicide, I hope this one would be the first to go.
1/5... COMPLETE randomness. There is no strategy, except the chance where you hit a huge combo. I received a 29 combo, mainly with rage and special attack, killed him in one turn.
This game is fun and all... but gets quite frustrating with how you move your ships around. I have, in most cases, clicked on another planet to select it, but instead sending my forces. Perhaps add the use of ESC to deselect, alongside with clicking in space.... just read the instructions... use of space to deselect is very weird...
After ~50minutes, I got 283426 ($113371) distance, max of 310m/s velocity at a max altitude of 800m~. Collected 1011 Stars ($5505) with +60% bonus = $189482
