I actually had this idea when I was a kid, around 8 years old. I made mazes lining pieces of paper, with drawn lines matching up walls (such as this), but was resident evil style xD (used my imagination while playing)
-This certainly brought back memories while playing this, and didn't think it would be this fun. 5/5, also hope to see more of this type of puzzle, with newer elements. Maybe something like maximum page changes, but you'll have to drop the shifting idea (or keep it). Or maybe baddies to go up against. Maybe more doors, or add switches, where it would change how the map is shown.
This game was good at the start, but later on gets really annoying. You can't control a single unit, or group of units, to guard an area, or attack a group/single unit. You can ONLY control the whole group, leaving a section of your base un-attended.
The concept of the game is nice though, making you think fast, while other objectives keep you distracted from defending your base. Although, this may be due to the horrible battling system.
Oh, nevermind. The hat indicator is the hats found in the army selection screen. It is just placed on a screen where it makes no sense, which is in the Trophies section.
this game has a few glitches, just minor though. Such as the hat collection not showing how much you have unlocked. This game is mainly mindless fun, with no actual strategy. (in other words, I leave attack on, and win without doing anything, except for the occasional "march" command to shift screens)
Err, I'm stuck with very low health. I try to run to another city to heal, but always die in between. SO ANNOYING. Very simple easy game, lags in some parts. Ridiculous game play, but addicting. 3/5
Good game, could use more difficulty though. I made 1 deck and it kicked ass all the way through. I didn't even have to really think about the deck that much, all blue and white. Having strong cards from blue with healing, and white gave healing and defensive. I breezed through the game. Could use some QA and a lot more cards. Replayability isn't their at all, not enough cards to collect, and the AI isn't that smart either. Wish the opponent had some color combination as purple and white barely have any attacking ones. Hardest level was against black.
In order to get the impossible badge, you must do a thing called "juggling". This is done by having two exits, but one blocked off. If a creep were to get close to it, open the other exit of your maze, and block off the original opening. If you do this well enough, you can get some major points.
Uhm... yeah... I'm going to stick with Actionscript 3.0 instead... Good tutorial though... I think... This is REALLY basic... I'll give kudos for 1 point?
I have got to say, at first I thought this game would suck after the first go. Died quickly... but then I gave it another shot. When you get far enough, IT GETS HARD.
Though, when it came to the part when it goes upside down (first occurrence), I didn't hit it and I had lost life. It was during transition to the next effect.
I love the originality in this game. Its concept is simple, music rocks, and an overall "break your keyboard" feeling when I die. The transitions on screen was a NICE touch. Though, I wish the graphics were a bit more tuned with everything else. 4/5
5 random thoughts that determine my score against this.
Automatic 0 because its a demo >:|
Game is creative, but it has been done before and shouldn't deserve to have to pay for this. 0
The level concept is good, but most of the levels sucked except for 18 and 19. I'll say it again, shouldn't have to pay for crappy level design. 0
Music.. its catchy after about a minute, then it gets really really old and annoying. 0
Another poster had mentioned the mechanics of this game, and how it DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. I concur. 0
