I am really disappointed with how the money pit rewards work. If you get a boost and inv is full, it's wasted. If you get a "X item has grown in power", there is no check to see if the item chosen was already at 100% and it's again, wasted.
Pretty easy to restart - just use your crossbow and click next to level 3, you'll start getting rebirth points when you die. Start putting those in gold increase permanent upgrade and you'll get gold quicker and quicker. Be able to afford the catapult pretty quick and then it's just a matter of replaying a level until you're certain it's easy enough and then try the next and hope for the best lol
As it stands, the game is pretty useless. While a good idea, it should have had more thought put into it before releasing, as I highly doubt most will come back to it at a later point. All there is to do is reach prestige a bit faster and faster each time you hit it (which should be the opposite, it should slowly start to take a bit longer to hit it each time, with better rewards each time...) You're trying to touch on the reward center of the brain, that's what keeps people coming back for more. When it's just a repetitive cycle, there's nothing to look forward to.
Sorry you do not like the new interface. But I am adding pages of upgrades, so it needed to be better organized. Scrolls will be used still to go from pages of the same category. Drones page 1 to drones page 2. Etc.
I agree that the relic idea needs to be seriously reworked. I had them all in the first 10 minutes of playing (or less?)... they're now useless and I have 0 zealots in them. Perhaps a much more exhaustive list of upgrades would be appropriate.
I see nothing but a planet orbiting the sun, the top bar that shows money, and a bunch of text blobs telling me what these invisible icons are supposed to do when clicked on. No icons, no buttons, no menu, nothing.
Food (and possibly money?) are not gaining at the right speed. Using my phones stop clock, I counted 10 seconds at 16 food per second, and had 105 food, not 160. That is a HUGE difference. No other tabs open, and a very fast computer...
Ahh never mind, I just realized it does take one food to buy nomads. Why is that not shown on the buy button? It only says 20 gold, nothing about food.
Am I missing something here? I bought the wagon - I get that you don't get any food from it, but after I reached 10 nomads and upgraded the building, I couldn't buy anymore nomads. It was stuck at 10. Food being 0 shouldn't matter as they only cost gold, and I had plenty of that to purchase more... bug??
I was using bass 5 in electronic, filled the bar from 0 to 2 with 8 steps per beat... I think the issue is the instrument sample is only 1.3 beats long, so it's starting over. I figured it would be able to just hold a note indefinitely, but after experimenting with some of the pads, I realized each sample is only a certain length. Kind of a bummer because a long, drawn out bass line is pretty cool when needed :) But it's still fun to play around with.
I'm a bit confused... I'm trying to get a bass note to carry for 2 full beats at 8 steps per beat, but for some reason, it starts over (adding a new "twang" at about 1 beat, 3 steps. Not sure why it's doing this...
I made it almost to the end of assim 5, before realizing that I just don't have it in me to continue with this game that I've played since it came out. Some of the reasons are seemingly random changes to the game that have NOT been for the better, absolutely no bonus to assimilating from one to the next with the exception of some extra buildings I never see any point in using and one more mob in forest that gets me no further.
Perhaps if the dev would wake up and start reading some of the requests made by players with over 500 +'s on them, and work on those rather than trying to submit a VERY incomplete and unbalanced game to steam, I'd give it longer. But that hasn't, and doesn't seem like it will become the norm. So with that, I'm out.
So, now I do not have to just spend every bit of money on swordsmen (why have you not implemented a text box or slider for the number to buy instead of always ALL YOUR MONEY or 1 at a time?!?!) But now I have to spend even MORE money to get them enough fatigue to revolt them? How is that more interesting, or better for gold?? It's useless, and just makes the game even harder to progress in... I do not understand your logic in this game anymore.
