Wow, you guys mast have some seriously crappy computers. I have a decent gaming system (8 core, 128gb ram, Geforce 760) and I get 0 lag whatsoever, no matter what I do. But even on my old system (quad core, 32gb ram, intel graphics integrated POS) I wasn't lagging on any of these flash games...
I do not understand the logic behind bits, and transcending. Each bit, according to the trans tab is worth 4% bonus to your production. Therefor, 300 bits that I collected would be worth 1200%, or 12x my old production rate. Yet, I can spend 256 of them to get x2 blocks? Why would I do that versus the 12x bonus from them? When would that EVER be something I'd want to do even later in game?
4) Demons do NOT give the highest payout, ESPECIALLY at higher levels. Currently, with 1k of everything, my zombies are earning far far more than my demons. ~ Hold your cursor over the gain bar in order to see your Gold Per Second count, you can verify.
5) You can have the game running in a tab and be on another tab and it will still count your +350x gains, I have tested this a number of times just to make sure and it is the case.
When fighting in the campaign, each city seems to have a specific creature that does the most harm. To maximize kills vrs money spent on creatures, skeletons for example, attack once with what you currently have, then only rebuy 300 - 500 at a time and attack again - rinse and repeat, avoiding the super high cost of getting back to 1000+, yet after 3 rounds, you have still done the same damage you would have had you attacked with 900 at once, for 1/50th the cost.
Well, played for 3 days, nothing changed on my computer, didn't clean out cache or cookies or anything and my savegame is gone. Not going to bother trying to get back to where I was. Well done :)
Wow, this is by the same devs that did cursed treasure? Boy did they go down hill. This game is about as boring and pointless of a "launcher" as you can get. The armor is pointless, because even if you do block a spike, you still stop advancing pretty much the second you hit the ground. The rockets and glider, even with full upgrades, are weak and do not get you far. I reached max of everything quite quickly and still haven't even gotten 3/4 to the end of the map because the ground stops you so quickly. Could use about 50 more upgrades rather than the few they are offering.
Bleh, rated a 1, which I SELDOM do on any game.
This game seriously needs a gold/sec counter for each shop so you know what is worth upgrading and what is not. At this time, it's pretty much a guess at how fast the bar fills on one compared to the other. If I am making x amount of gold per sec from farms and x amount of gold per sec from cathedrals or gold mines, I need to know which is worth upgrading before the other.
You have seen so many idle games because everyone saw how much HyperHippo made with AdCap ... 14 million game plays, and they get cash for each one. Even if it's a penny per play, that's still 140k ...
Well if our game makes enough money for me to quit my job and dedicate myself full time to programming and design for it, CodeRiftStudios (I am one of the founders of the company lol) will be working hard to expand content for this game to make it really great. We don't plan to just drop it if it becomes really big. We just can't do THAT much while we need to work full time on the side, this is literally a hobby right now. Also the money made per play is less than 1 penny per play, it's about 0.001 cents per play, not a lot until you get into AdCap's play count. ~Taiga
@BaronRivendare: lol... nice post, now imagine if they gave you that loan in pennies. Wonder how much that would weigh? I have a feeling they'd need a few planets worth of copper to make em though
Really wish a lot of people would +1 this so the devs can actually see it, because the current number system is just beyond wacky. Seriously. Who says 1000 1000's when they mean a million? Here, it is 1000k instead of 1.000M as it should be. 1,000N is a decillion (D) when it should be 1.000D ... again, no one uses numbers like this and it's seriously confusing. I would highly recommend changing it to normal number usage!
The only criticism I have for this game would be the way the numbers are displayed. Showing, for example, 12,550M is very confusing to me, and I would assume to others as well. Instead, it should be 12.550B -- makes much more sense that way as it IS in the billions. Why wait until long after you're in the billions (trillions ...etc) to show B rather than M? Besides that, of course, is the fact that the achievements don't always kick in when they're supposed to.
massive disadvantage for this game: Clearing browser cache/history/clearing files deletes the save games. Games like Adventure Capital manage to save the game regardless if you clear your history/cache/files. Can't you do the same? Not going to bother starting over, I clear my browser history at least once daily. No point
They use internet servers to save the game. I do not have this game hooked up to any Servers as of this time. Adventure Capitalist if also composed of a team that gets paid for what they do. I work in my room for free, I make games because I love seeing people enjoy my works.
Hmm, after a bit of testing, I think I found out some other info on the current purchased multiplier bug... I think it is lagging after a refresh. The reason I say this is because none of the purchase buttons work for me currently, but I had clicked on buy 3x multiplier last... 20+ minutes later, the box from kong popped up asking me to confirm my purchase, and the 10 multipliers I had were finally showing. Seems like it is hanging pretty bad. Each time you refresh, your purchases are gone until the game (or the server?) catches up.
Yes, there's an issue with the purchased 3x multipliers disappearing, so again, if you feel like you're earning less and have previously purchased 1 or more 3x multipliers, they are likely gone. I'm sure the devs are working hard to fix it, but check to make sure that's the reason why... Dragondave, the same happened to me. I lost my 10 upgrades after a refresh, but they came back. Refreshed again, now they're gone again and have yet to return. Patience I guess....
If anyone feels like they're earning less and you have previously purchased the 3x upgrade(s) with kreds, check to make sure you still have your upgraded multipliers... Mine have disappeared twice now, waiting to hear back from devs.
Also, please remember in saves whether or not the cash to diamonds is checked... I let it sit for an hour in another tab and came back to realize I had gained no diamonds as it was unchecked again. Frustrating.
Here is my feeling on the game, and please realize it's just my opinion and not meant to offend the devs ... I already beat the game, quite quickly as well I should add. Other than now letting it sit and build up diamonds, there is no point in continuing, or coming back for more. All of a sudden the points just stop at a certain number and you hit max on everything and boom, it's game over.
If you want this to be a serious contender with games like Adventure Capital, you're going to need to put in a lot more effort on the end-game. Again, sitting there watching diamonds go up without having anything else to do is quite pointless, and obviously there are quite a few cheaters on the high score table to boot, no one could hit 4 billion diamonds, not when we all earn them at the exact same rate and the game hasn't been up long enough to come close. Darkshade with 135k might (probably is) be legit, but everything above that is bullshit.
Please note that this game was made about two years ago - we would make it better now :)
