only thing i don't like, is that the order you get the clues is exactly an order, which completes every puzzle. i thought as the levels progress you'll have to revisit every clue to find the right solution
Another suggestion: Trimp Veteran. Someone who survived a fight and makes a group he is ordered to stronger. This mechanism can be used for a requirement for world ascention (see my previous comment)
I broke the game not knowing that upgrades get pricier when ascending to next world. Maybe build in requirements in population at the end of each world/ in the number of trimps that are allowed to die in a single fight P.S.(I suicided 60 trimps in EVERY level to ascend faster (built 1000 traps beforehand) - suddenly upgrades were unaffordable.
Maybe could add a attk/per spend metal to the equipment shop menue. I end up always counting through calculator for most effectivness; would shorten the way and prevent missinvestments
I'd suggest to set 2 mins for 1 year aging of the Lania. 8 years are way to much. To age my Lania to the max I have to wait at least 1hour while kept the window open(?).
If there's a sequel you could add the possibility to take out a loan with interest. Thereby we (the businessmen) have to keep in mind that we need to pay it back to the bank.
The fact that all 3 characters of a block are just "white" in different brightness makes it hard for me to keep them apart. Why don't you implement a picture of the objection at the left of the screen instead of making it overlapping with the playing field. Apart from that great game ;)
I often can't get the chests because I can't change the heroes. the heroe standing next to the chest doesn't come into action, because another heroe kills the enemy first :S
