How to get the pink character and win the game easily (but this will not get you a hard badge, most likely): Do not hit Tom when he is not firing his lasers. When he attacks with his beard, dodge BUT DO NOT ATTACK. When he goes to fire his lasers, go up behind him and pummel him. You will usually get around 10+ hits. Also, another thing you can do when Tom is not firing his lasers is attack the tombstones. If you juggle them, you can get large amounts of experience. Once you defeat Tom, you should have at least the Gold character, if not yet the Pink. When the skull appears, avoid the fireballs and juggle the tombstones. Once you become the pink character, you should be easily able to defeat the skull. :D
