Wow, I checked the published date, and this game came out on Jan. 18, 2008, over 11 years ago. I agree with other people, this is good old game. I guess that means that this game is both fancy as well as classy now. : )
I'm getting a "Browser doesn't support WebAssembly" even though Firefox DOES support it. In fact, it's supported it since late 2017. If anyone knows how to fix this issue send me a PM.
@AuraStarfall: Yeah, I also noticed that the money grinding is weird in how some levels give more money than 5 levels later than it. As for the penguins being stupid, I think that's a purposeful game mechanic. They ARE penguins after all. For people having trouble loading the game, try disabling your anti-tracking addons (for me I disabled Adblock Plus and Ghostery.) That allowed me to play this game.
I'm getting any odd message. After I click play an error message very briefly appears for such a short amount of time I can't read it, then the game sponsors appear, and then I get an error message saying, "This page is no allowing the game to run. (Probably incorrect wmode set) Click here to play it on Kongregate". Does anyone know how to get around this problem? Is so, please send me a private message.
I beat this game years ago, but decided to play it again since it was had a badge for BotD. I've beaten the "Final" boss 5 times in a row without dying and now have over $50,000 saved up. I'm starting to hear the song "This Is the Song that Never Ends" playing in my mind along with the game's BGM, but with the lyrics "This is the game that never ends."
Yeesh, that whale grows quickly. To bad this feeding method doesn't work in real life. We could just feed 100-200 lbs. to a newborn and we'd have a full grown adult in a few minutes.
For those looking for guffins, I think there are only a limited amount that spawn each day no matter how much you look. So if you don't find any one day try hunting as much as you can, end the day, and check the next day.
@ReadingQueen92: Um, you could submit a bug report, or send a private message to the developers. I doubt they will notice if you post the spelling error in this comment's section. Actually, yarg__ was last on Kongregate on April 13, 2017 and TimofeyS was last on Kongregate on November 27, 2018, so I doubt you'll get a response unless they get an e-mail update when messages are sent to them.
@ValSolitary: I also got the message for today's BotD "Somewhat Crazy Guitar Multiplier 4 Badge" , "You acquired this badge on Feb. 11, 2012." I guess it was made a BotD on that date.
"Tempted by Yellow, Red Blew Me Away, Black You're My Favorite, At Least Today (To Be Continued?)". Well, personally, this is one game series I wouldn't mind seeing continued. The hardest stages were definitely less annoying than the hardest stages from the previous games in the series.
@deathstryker: You didn't say which part you were stuck on, but since the hardest part of Lv. 9 is the right side I'm assuming that's where you are stuck on. What you need to do is grab the ghost on the right, then dash left when at the top, and then wait for the ghost to drop below the fire. Then drop down and dash left into the chest, drop the ogre off, then grab the ghost to get back up. Finally, grab the 2nd ogre, get back to the chest when the ghost is below the fire, wait for the ghost to go up, dash left, and then get back to the chest near the start point. I hope that helps you.
@SilverCarrot: To beat Lv. 7, stomp the starting platform to give yourself a big jump and go right, stomp the 2nd bat, then stomp the 3rd bat, and then eat the top-right person to turn him into an orc. Drop down, stomp the ground when the top bat is heading right, and then eat the bat to get to the far left where you started. Finally, eat the last bat to fly right and eat the last person to turn him into an orc.
If you liked the previous games in this series you'll love this game. In this game in the series, instead of rescuing people from chests you need to put them in the chests. Why? I don't know, but it is a nice short puzzle game. 5/5 Stars from me. Oh, and for those people who are having trouble for Level 15, read SataiDelenn's comment on how to beat the level.
I found out in the 6th stage (stage you find the pipe in) you CAN kill one rat and not lose your "No Kill" objective. It is the rat that is in a low ceiling passage that you have to kill to progress. After beating the game it will show up with a heart "X"ed over it to show you can kill it.
For those people having a white screen issue after clicking Continue right after starting the game, I scrolled down the webpage (I used the mouse wheel) and the white screen was replaced with the game. There have been many Flash games in the past few months either from update Internet browser and/or updated Flash program that I've had the issue with either a white or black screen and scrolling the webpage fixes the issue for me for any of these now-buggy games. I hope this helps you with this game and other games on Kongregate!
