Wow, first few days this game is 5/5 Stars. Then the difficulty just ramps up immensely. Got the BotD, and I've downgrading to 2/5 Stars. Even in Casual Mode I had trouble.
@zoidberg55: No need to be rude. If someone says they need a walkthrough, then they need it. I needed a walkthrough for a few of the stages that I got stuck on, though I was able to do most of them without help.
Yay, finally go the badge of the day! The walkthrough I used was: http://www.online-game-walkthrough.com/2008/02/protector-walkthrough.html. Hope it helps!
Hmm, I've cleared all 9 sectors, but the Objectives in the upper-left part of the screen still says I need to do that. Game bug, or is it the last objective so it will never disappear?
Great game, 4/5 Stars. Only problems with the game is that it does become tedious, and I'm stuck at 99% completion according to the in-game stats, even though I've done every possible action (I've triple checked that all the Weapons, Food, and Objects are maxed out.) Now that "Road of the Dead 2" came out, I hope an improved version of "Lab of the Dead" comes out.
I hope the next Build will allow people with only 9 sectors to have more sectors added. I currently only have 9 sectors, but have an Assault Carrier with maxed out equipment and $2.37 million dollars, so I really don't want to restart the game.
@Pengujack9: Before you do upgrades, the lawnmower boards give you pennies. That's why the amount of money have and the dollars per second (dps) include cents.
FYI, if you want to get rid of lag while the game is idling, open up the in-game spreadsheet. That will remove all the animation, and you will earn money at a normal rate. Then when you have enough money, go buy some upgrades, and then go back to the spreadsheet. I hope this helps, especially for those with low graphics cards/RAM.
Anyone else having problems with holding the right mouse button down and not being able to turn the camera? It usually works, but sometimes it doesn't, and then randomly starts working again.
@Athang: The letter stand for scientific notations for powers of 10. K stands for 1,000, M stands for Million, G for Billion, T for Trillion, P for Quadrillion, E for Quintillion, Z for sextillion, and Y for septillion. So 1 Y is 1,000 Z, 1 Z is 1,000 E, and so on. Here's a weblink: http://www.unc.edu/~rowlett/units/prefixes.html
@Shortsword: I'd say yes, since the game is called frantic, and ivod's comment in the Best Comments section says to use kamikaze for the Impossible badge.
@TheBossGamer233: To beat Lv. 6 first choose the clouds, the fall down to the left, turn right and swamp the pavement. The run through the pavement that has the properties of the clouds, and when you are right next to the spikes, and click to swap the spikes. Then jump up, land on the pavement, and then swap the clouds with the spikes. Run across the spikes, and then press "X" to cancel the spike/cloud swap, and then jump up the clouds to grab the coins and the flag. I hope that helps.
As previous suggestions mentioned, first upgrade primary gun. When a new ship gets unlocked, put one point into each weapon, and then continue upgrading primary gun. Then focus next on cannon (for 3rd ship), and then missiles. I completed the game with the 3rd ship with max primary gun and cannon, Lv. 4 missile, Lv. 1 torpedo and medical chopper, and nothing in HP. Took me 44 minutes to beat the game according to the game.
