@jjplay175: Game was fine until about 3 days ago, when it started acting weird. The way it is right now is NOT how it has been for most of the past 8 months it has been on Kongregate.
A small interesting fact: for today's Daily Challenge, "The Wonderful Wizard of Bloonz", the amount of starting money, 1939, is the year when the movie The Wizard of Oz was released in theaters. : )
The hard badge is not hard if you have all the upgrades. : ) Anyway, great game. Only possible way to make it better would be when you upgrade the laser reload rate enough it becomes a continuous laser. 5/5 Stars
Great game, 5/5 Stars. Here are a few tips. First, once you complete a level for the first time, every time you redo the level a Star and Three Arrows will appear on the bottom-left of the game screen. The Star will let you know if you bump into anything by disappearing, and the Three Arrows will disappear if you go pass the time limit for a level. A second tip is that you should aim to get EITHER a Perfect run or a Speed run each time you do a level, and NOT BOTH. If the Star or Three Arrows disappear when you are going for the Perfect or Speed run, you can just press "R" to Restart the stage. Third, the "hit" area for the top and top-right part of the choppa is A LOT smaller than the visuals make you think. So if you are trying to get through a tight space for a Perfect run, especially the Crush-O-Tron level, its best to side toward being visually to high than to be too low. Rate up if this helps, and have fun!
joemama1512 is WRONG. Accuracy is based on amount of ROUNDS where at least one shot hits the enemy. So if you have a new plane/helicopter that can have 3 weapons equipped, for each time they fire as long as ONE of them hits an enemy, it doesn't count as a miss. You could complete a stage with only the left weapon hitting and the middle and right weapons missing every single time, and you'll end up with 100% Accuracy. This is true even if you let ships pass by you. Please rate this up and joemama1512's in the Best Comments section down so people see this and not joemama1512's comment and get bad information.
Yuck, I completed this game a week ago before badges were put in, so I had to do all 40 levels again. : ( Oh well, at least it only took me 18 minutes instead of the 40 minutes it took when I completed it the first time.
It's an OK game, so 3/5 Stars from me. The good thing about the game is that what it does say you can do you can actually do, and it's got a good concept of fighting hybrids. The problems are that it has no storyline (almost every good game coming out has a storyline, even if it is ridiculous; see Burrito Bison and Learn to Fly.) You also have no way of defending against attacks, which is a must since you are a boxer. Finally, the game is awfully short since there is no reason to redo a previous stage when completed, and there aren't that many to begin with either
As for my opinion of the game, is is rather well done. Only annoying things are how enemies come from places you've just come from and cleared of enemies, and also how when you change from one screen to another there isn't a way of seeing the enemies and surroundings before action begins. Despite these 2 problems, I loved the game. 5/5 Stars
@heycoolguy1 and HavenL: To defeat the dog boss, you need to shoot him in the back 3 times. You can get the first 2 shots by running underneath him when he does a high jump at you. For the 3rd shot, when he jumps at you, you need to jump over him. Then you can turn around and give him the 3rd and final shot. And to answer the questions before they come up, the defeat the six arm demons, you need to jump and shoot in mid-air. Their counterattack will aim for where you were when you shot, and will miss you on the ground. It takes 4 shots to kill them. As for the final giant demon boss, it takes 5 shots. To get the 5th shot in his head, wait until he stops firing fireballs, and instead summons stalactites. That's when it is safe to jump up the platforms and shoot him. I hope this helps.
Anyone else notice that today's Daily Challenge titled E.A.S.Y. is much harder than the Daily Challenge titled H.A.R.D. from March 21st? Must be an April Fools Joke. : )
Part 2: Fifth, if teammates can die, you should be able to have "spare" Survivors to replace as soon as they die, or at least at the end of the night. That way if you can't find anymore people during scouting the next day, you won't start the next night with a bunch. Sixth, I never lost people while scouting, so that statistic should be removed from the daily report. Seventh and lastly, you should be able to upgrade your barricade beyond the starting amount, and possibly be able to repair it during a lull in the battle each night. Again, because of these flaws, only 2/5 Stars.
Game has a lot of potential, but has too many flaws, so I didn't like it, so 2/5 Stars from me. The problems I found are the following. First, some enemies when they reach the barricade can't be killed by you at all, and can only be killed by your teammates. Second, your teammates can get killed by weapons the zombies are using. Third, they will sometimes not fire for the first few seconds of each night, making it extremely hard since there is usually a swarm of running zombies at the beginning of each night. Fourth, several of the stages have no way of determining how much time is left, and none of them have a way of telling you when there is a lull in the zombies coming and that it is safe to reload your weapons.
I found a nice bug in-game. If you choose to leave no power for the 1st power slot, then while the level does have that slot empty, the next time a level is started it will be changed to Fireball, EVEN IF FIREBALL IS ALREADY SELECTED IN ANOTHER SLOT. Then when you start the next level, you can use two Fireballs at the same time. This lets you use the cheapest spell twice as much, as each slot has its own cooldown. : )
I defeated all the demons north of Icecliff, got the Tome of Absolution, but the quest "Into the Void" is still not showing up as completed. Am I missing something else I need to do?
@kennybrooks: Get your radar and Control upgraded. The only reason the BotD is medium instead of easy is because before you complete the game, it is difficult. As you progress, it goes from difficult to easy to VERY easy.
