some basic tactics
- ranged will always attack the closest unit: if you have an enemy archer in the top spot put all archers to
the top so they will focus him for a few shots
- if you will win with ranged units only (happens in more than 80% of the fights) arrange the melee so that
they reach the enemy late or even try to block them at all
-you can use the spell slow on your own units to keep them from reaching the enemy to fast
-pixies are cannonfodder: only use them for the difficult fights in the first map
-arbalester and goblins are a must
-if you exchange the 100 peasants for their souls you will get 100 skeletons for them. at that time you will normally only able to support around 20 of them so take care that you have free room for them.
-druids and later giants are great blocking units because of their high hp.
it seems many just dont understand the point of the game. the difficulty comes from being forced to pick up the money. staying alive in levels is easy. being greedy and picking up as much money as possible is difficult. especially as you dont want to kill too many enemies at once because the money will just vanish. thats where the fun and the challenge is: be greedy and dont get killed meanwhile :-)
