Hey guys here is some crazy stuff. At home, I have two computers on a wireless network. On one computer I get the minute+ lag everyone is complaining about. But on the other one, I don't!
I don't know why this is.
I think one reason there are less games is because there are a lot of bugs that have been known for weeks, but not fixed. So there's not much incentive to find new ones.
When we get decent lagtimes, 30 seconds should be enough per move. An overall time bank like in chess or scrabble games would also be good. Or something like a Fischer clock.
Thinktank, sometimes we need specific combos to test. For example, if I want to test Hypnotic Stare against a speed 6 power swing, I need the valk charm and ashi.
Like if you have less than 25 cards you should be able to pick until your deck has 25 cards. And you should be able to switch, etc. How can we beta test without the cards, &c, &c.
For myself, I would play more if I didn't get 1-2 minute lag on each action. I don't really buy the "overloaded servers" stuff because this is latency, not bandwidth
Sorry for the multiple posts. Also wanted to add that I always get constantly connected and disconnected from kongregate chat in other games, too. This has happened from before kongai.
When I play at home, I get huge lag (1-2 minutes). When I play at work I get no lag.
I don't have trouble accessing any other sites or kong games. What's up with this?
I get that Tafari is supposed to have a great innate combined with totally sucky moves. But that just makes him an either/or character that makes it boring to play against/with
Tafari's innate makes the game not fun. A more fun innate would be a 50% chance of opponent failing to switch out (and subject to normal attacks during the round where switch-out failed)
