Hello,
Sorry for the delay in starting the league, there were some issues with getting confirmation from members. We now have groups set up for league play, which can be found on the spreadsheet (http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=t8UDjnUrwxCC8UlV6HrEKtg&output=html).
You may now begin league play. You are required to play three games against each of the other people in your group. You may only use each character card one time per three game series. Report each game using the form link on the Match Log spreadsheet. ONLYONEPERSONREPORTSPERGAME!
Please play your games as soon as possible. To make this easier, go to room 42 whenever you are playing Kongai, and leave shouts for your group members to decide on a time to play. Please continue to check your shouts throughout the league.
Good Luck!
Hey!
The league is starting really soon! Before we embark on drawing groups, we need everyone to confirm their participation in the Kongai League. Hey!
We shall be finishing the group stage of our league very soon – we decided to make 31st May the ultimate deadline. However, since we realized it is infeasible to get all the matches played, we have to come up with an alternative way of ranking the players. Therefore, we agreed that it is necessary for all players to have at least 15 matches played in order to facilitate the process of ranking of them in a fair way. All participants who do not have 15 games played yet have been highlighted in our spreadsheet (http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=pDya2qTh0acYhXMEzCsR-LQ&gid=0). If you do not manage by the end of May, you will unfortunately not be qualified in the final table. It is nothing personal, this requirement is just very crucial for us to finish the group stage.
We understand that it can be difficult to find matches. There are a few ways to make this somewhat easier. Firstly, please always come to room 42 while playing Kongai, as this makes it far easier for you to find other players. There is also the issue of timezone differences. For this, we suggest that you shout other league members to set up a time. While you might not normally be on at the same time as everyone else, in most situations there will be some time in the next two weeks you can arrange to play.
Everyone still has a chance to advance to the playoffs! And don’t forget there are prizes waiting for everyone!
As you may or may not be aware, we have started play for the Kongai league. Sorry for not getting a message out sooner.

Anyway, if you’ve forgotten, I’d like to give you a quick refresher on the league rules. We decided to split everyone up into two groups- League A and League B. Over the course of the next 1-2 months, you will have to play one game against each other player in your group. The 12 players with the best record from each group will then proceed to a playoff tournament, with the top 4 from each receiving first round byes.
During the regular season, there will be no particular structure as to who you play when. Instead, please visit room 42 every time you play Kongai. There, you will find other league members who you can challenge. If you have trouble finding a certain person in your group, send them a message to try and set up a game.
You are in group B. To find a list of people you should play and to check up on standings, please visit the league spreadsheet: http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=pDya2qTh0acYhXMEzCsR-LQ&gid=16
Perhaps we can play sometime? I’ll probably be obliterated, but the benefit of playing the better players and honing my skills far outweigh any self esteem I’ll lose.
And of course a ton of skill gained in beta-test. And ton of cards gained in beta-test. Luck? No, its not luck… We could check if its luck if they would start like other players – 3 random cards, no skill and so on.
> Why do you think the same five
> guys make it to the top of the
> Kongai rankings EVERYDAY?
> What, are they the luckiest guys
> on Kongregate?
idk maybe bc they have all that good cards and items ;)
Hey I read that you are accepting challenges? Well I’m here asking for one, we’ve played once before and I noted that you can compile the best decks. So i regulate that this match be Random Cards (ALL). How to determine that we actually do that I don’t know. But :) even playing field… You in?

By the way, i disagree, Kongai IS about being lucky. However, it so happens that the skilled players place themselves in positions to be luckier than the other guy, or to minimize the chance of losing to a lucky shot. So it’s skill and luck :P
You are a real good player of kongai. You’ve got all the cards and the skill. Too bad its a silly game at heart, and I’m a silly guy who likes it :) I cannot beat you head to head. But I can beat up more noobs ;)
