its an allright game. cool artwork but unfortunatly i chose to play it while kong was updateing there chat GUI. super lag + precise jumping = AARRGGHHH!!!. much to short but i suppose with that ending it leaves it open to future chapters. 4/5
very nicely done reminds me of nobunaga's ambition, Romance of the three kindoms type games. but instead of warriors and elephants you get little kirby-esque guys. 5/5 i have no complaints every thing well done (simple yet still stragtegic). as a suggestion maybe incorperate specialized armies that can only be made in ceratain places. (horse bow men, dragons, catapults, etc..)
is good game but hard. i found that the strategy that works for me going back and forth between engineer and mercenary upgrades till they maxed. and using only sniper, electro, and rocket towers. one sniper and one electro to start then another sniper and another electro. then just put all your money into rocket towers since no unit i have found is strong against rocket type attacks. the "boost" towers seem like a waste to me and the "disable" towers i geuss could be good but i didnt bother with the scientific route since they so expensive to make upgrade. 3.8/5
man i wanna like this game its right up my alley of games i like. course its immpossible to play since i cant keep any saves for like months now. downloadable version would resolve this, maybe?
i like this game. unfortunately is more luck than skill i mean if you just dont get the piece you need after using all your extra draws and other tools your just F'd. 3/5
nide side scroller 3/5. controls are kinda stiff good luck trying to do D,U,A and doing the move. would be better if you set the scroll screen point a little farther back. when trying to progress if you run into the boss you have almost no reaction time to not get hit. maybe just lock scroll to middle of screen instead of 15% and 85%(from left to right). whats with game designers making the starting enemies take 5 hits and your starting combo knocking them down in 4 hits? just to annoy? even if y0u link the fire ball at end for a 5 hit it still leaves them with 2% health. maybe put in a combo setup on the pause/inv screen. like side slice (10) -> cross (10) -> stab (8) -> overhead (15 and knock down). which could be modified to, with appropriate level, to slice (10) -> cross (10) -> stab (8) -> cross (10) -> slice (10) -> etc.. however long your coding skills would allow.
games pretty neat cept stone is way to hard to come by being that every troop needs it. i spend all bonus points on stone every turn and still can barely field any thing but basic troops. for crystals being the (rare) resource i hade over 3000 at the end of the game. i think catapult needs seperate upgrade besides a general next better one which is wierd cause the damage goes up but the cool down between shots increases alot. I find that elite units just dont cut the mustard against even basic infantry army units basically just to stall for catapult shots. but all in all i did enjoy the game 3.8/5
