Just ran into the "no-ship-freeze" bug. I have lost my last ship, forgot about it and went into Start Map. The game froze and clicking anything did nothing (even though highlights and everything work fine). Reloading just gets me back to Star Map and I am still frozen. . . .
Couple of visual bugs regarding higlight: -- High Rise copies the higlight of the last played piece. -- Monument has no highlight. -- Casino has no highlight.
Why does cargo space disappear? I ended up in a game where I had nothing save for 200 from Oxygen, Water and Methane each and I had 50000/50000 cargo.
Also when I die in my medium ship while I have some small ships left in hangar, it removes one of my small ships instead of the medium.
Please do some polishing (it needs better help, more readable fonts, onmouseover hints, better collision detection in missions and much much more...).
Otherwise it is a great game! Love the idea!
Currently working on these issues, but I am unable to re-create the bug where you lost the wrong class of ship. When you purchased your medium fighter, did you make sure to swap to it before launching?
I like the concept, the game is nicely executed, the building variety is great. However there are some things that could be done better regarding your GUI - for example there is no "back to menu" button when I finish a level, I have to go through High Score screen. There is no indication how much XP I have or need for next level. There is no explanation for the new buildings I unlocked. The top bar takes too much space and I can't make it go away. There is no "buildings" list for reference.
Also consider a "sandbox mode" - I would like to just "build my city" without any score or restrictions, just to make it pretty or try different strategies :)
Small (exploitable) bug that should be fixed: When placing Support Structures while Eagle Sight is active, those gain enhanced range and keep it forever (although it produces weird results like one unit in range gaining +36 range from both, but unit next to it gaining +21 range ???).
The speed achievements should have a notice that they need to be completed within Earth's atmosphere. I just spent eternity flying to space and gaining ridiculous speeds while there and the achievement would not unlock. Then I tried to do it in atmosphere and it unlocked instantly.
As a concept this is a great little and fun game. However to be a full game, it needs some more stuff - for example in-game explanation of the upgrades, some tutorial, some story, more polish, bigger variety of enemies and enviroments...things like that :)
Really fun game. Interesting concept and realtively smooth gameplay. All it needs now is better graphics, bigger variety of cards and more maps and it might be a big hit :)
It's a great concept, the graphics are stunning and the gamplay is easy and fun. However I think it needs more stuff to do (more races, achievements, oponents, asteroids, guns, .... there is so many possibilites!), now it's just a one-minute time waster, not a proper game.
I encountered a rather annoying bug:
I have first maxed out my Weapon stat. After that, whenever I level up, I select to upgrade my Health stat, but it has no effect - my cap stays the same and when I level up again, I still see no points in my Health stat.
Controls are awkward means that for example jumping onto the ledge with the door in the starting room took me five attempts, since you need to hit left at exactly the right time. The fact that you need to "scroll" the room with your mouse after you open the door is also not intuitive and I discovered it merely by accident (I thought the door is bugged at first since it would not let me through) - it should be mentioned somewhere. And so on...
One star is my rating. The game clearly has promise, but I would suggest making it more "friendly" first - I bet those two points I outlined above will make most gamers close it as soon as they start, which is not something you want.
Don't get me wrong - I have nothing against ads when they are properly placed. But since they essentially make the whole "game window" and the game itself is in a little window in the middle of ads is clearly not sending the right message. I suggest starting with less of them and placing them less intrusively (there are a lot of standard placements, just try and play some of the games here and you'll see).
I seem to be unable to push the box past the edge of the cliff in Scene III. The pushing animation stays there, but the box just won't pass the edge.
Also, if I push the box on the edge, then switch times with it and then try to push it from the "lower level" on the other side, the character "drops through floor" and the level restarts.
Is the game supposed to have an ending? I just killed all the zombies (the counter is showing 0) and the damsel is still standing there yelling "Help" with nothing happening. I had to shoot her in the end to get a "Zombies Win message"!
