Its tedious to open my bag and click the potion in battle, when with hotkeys, I could just press a button to use my potion, possibly saving my life. The time it takes to open my bag and doubleclick, is about the time I'm dead.

Upgrades would be things that make you go faster/ do more damage/ and jump faster. As you get bigger, map gets bigger. A thing on the screen, which shows how much you weigh.
