Is something supposed to happen when you click the black circle on the title screen? Because nothing does. If that's the whole game, the button is not very secret.
Congratulations, you've got an engine. Now put in the buttons requested by everybody else (mute, restart, main menu, level select), and start writing levels that take more thought and less luck. Many were dead-easy, others were impossible to win cleanly. Looking forward to version 2.
I really like choose-your-path games, and look forward to seeing how this one plays when you fix the interface problems other people have pointed out. I'm a fan of stick figure art.
I'm good at Spot-The-Difference, but found this one squinty and annoying, with an unreasonable time limit. I didn't make it past the first level in three attempts and I don't care enough to find out why.
Oh, I forgot to say, kudos on a non-linear level progression. If I got brick-walled because I couldn't get my mind right to just crack that one... blasted... level, then I'd be frustrated. As it is, I'm chipping away at the edges of 6 different intractable levels, and trying to get gold in a whole bunch of others while I wait for inspiration. Great system.
Never mind the people who are crying because it gets difficult. *That's the point.* I'm about a third of the way through and need to stop for the day, and I'm delighted that there's more for me to come back to later. Clean game mechanic, clear graphics, nothing but logic. It's beautiful. 5/5
I'm really enjoying the puzzle mechanic, but could do without the clumsy politics (and "hacking") of the storyline. It's a great logic puzzle, and I'd have enjoyed it about twice as much without political caricatures. (I say this as someone who's all for freedom of information. But the whole War on Terror thing... yeah. No.)
This game rocks my socks. Come on, Kongregate, let's have some badges! It's definitely challenging enough to deserve at least a completion badge and a perfect score badge. (I've been clicking for hours and I've still got four... left... to... go!) Completion and all golds are nearly the same thing, but a perfect score is crazy-hard.
Ahaaaah, that "find the posters" thing requires working through at least one of the puzzles that I was finding troublesome. Helpful tip to others: do the multipart puzzles sooner rather than later if you can help it.
Mena, this must be some new definition for the word "easy" that I need to become familiar with. I'm not using walkthroughs. I can find all the puzzles easily enough, and found the hint for the first in the letter. I've solved a few, and can see myself working through a few more in time. Mostly, though, I can figure out the mechanics very quickly, but then have *no idea* what the victory condition is. The pipes are particularly maddening to me, as I'm good at circuit puzzles and none of the possible victories I can think of are giving me a win here.
I'm giving it a while longer, but I find the programmer's assertion that there are "very obvious clues" to be... curious.
