Great game, I absolutely love the system and graphics, very well done... but only a 4/5 because of one little thing. Ancient tomes foretelling of the return of an evil wizard that sets the sky on fire and a hero that would come from the precipice of death and thus intermingled with the same void thing that the wizard is using... it sounds an awful lot like elder scrolls foretelling of the return of Alduin who swallows the world in fire and a hero that was born of the same blood. I mean, really? They both even start off with a soldier of The Legion telling them what to do.
I love this game, one of the best ones in a while :)
The only thing I can say is... The "reset skills" in the backpack is precariously close to the "back" button. It causes problems sometimes o.O
My name is STEVE, and I mat be the last MAN alive... I'm down to a few supplies and my HANDY DANDY NOTEBOOK. I'm so tired, but I have to get to the city by nightfall.
Ever since Epic War 3, the series has been on a downfall. Games do need to evolve to have successful sequels, but I feel as though the fundamental gameplay that made everyone love Epic War has been changed too much. Also, the comment about the artwork is not subjective. The art and graphics appear to be much more simplistic than they once were. A blatant downgrade. This series is clearly on it's way out. All good things must come to an end.
This game is truly down to the heart and soul of flash games. Highly addictive, short, and simple. This is not just the best game of the month, it is easily one of the best games ever to be on Kongregate.
Not a big deal at all, just a little thing I would tweak. The cursor. I know it is supposed to be the little pirate treasure map x that marks the spot... but it really makes me feel like I'm about to cancel or delete anything I click.
I've played through oblivion and didnt find my story similar at all :(
