Interface needs help. There is no reason to be forced to enter each map area just to move resources; why must resources be manually moved across the map? It wastes the player's time and provides no gameplay. I found no challenge. It was long, so I suppose if you think perseverance is a *challenge*... The AI is not too bright and I wiped them out before they took a 2nd territory. I never determined if there's a way to see the number of units the enemy has, even on the battlefield. Why the enemy brings catapults to a defensive battle... stupid!
I dislike that buildings have such a short upgrade path and no branching. There's no way to create magical weapons, even tho magic exists. Why even have an upgrade path if it's one step and all it really does is crank out more stuff? There's really no gameplay there - it's just a pointless obstacle.
Also, the economy is laughably bad. There is no reason to mine. Just crank food and sell the majority.
Need to be able to mute the damned thing from the menu and muting needs to mute the damned speaking. So obnoxious. This is beyond a rookie mistake. 1 star before playing until that's changed!
The inability to predict where the massive air ships come onto the screen is crippling. The game is unplayable, IMO, as it is, but has a lot of potential. It's simply not fun to repeat a level over and over hoping that the big bad guy will happen to run into your guns.
Rated 1 because the first several levels simply waste your time with how purely stupid you'd have to be to get it wrong. Don't hold my hand, just let me play.
Seriously, forcing me to juggle is just not fun. It defeats the purpose of a tower defense. It's like saying, 'hey, we can't win them legitimately, either! Let's make gimpy stuff part of the game!!' LAME.
