Well in the beginning I thought that this would be simple-all time classic- tic tac toe and after a while I really enjoyed it when suddenly it went to a whole new dimension ^^
Shut up and take my 5stars. This game is so atmospheric and dark. I loved it! Make more like these. The end makes sense when realizing the game title and it does not take so much thinking to go through it. I had a great time and imaginary traveled with your story.

Apparently in order to get 5 stars you need to get your dream guy and as many chocolates, diamonds and folders you can. It may need a little bit of luck also so that this guy has no bad traits ,like being alcoholic or sth. I think a score higher than 1000 gives you 5 stars, at least I got them with 1066.
P.s I did not find him in the very early years
Just be patient until you can afford the last weapon.. Then it gets easy to farm those extra $ for the ship and its upgrades. I managed to finished the game with only 2 weapon slots and 2 upgrades on last weapon.
Here's what worked for me:
Souls: 1 Enemy Kill= 1 Soul. Spend them for Weapon Upgrade (also affects Magic Dmg)
Talent Tree: Demon. Enemy killing: Disease (you actually dont want to get silenced so you can keep using spells) + Death / Boss Killing:Disease, Curse,Cripple, Death, (Shield, Death,Cripple,Death etc.)
Sieges: 2x Soldiers, 2x Catapults +Dragon (when unlocked) Go for the building not the troops. There is no need to spend building slots for other troops than those. Save them for Shrines (+Dmg) later on, till then go for markets and towns.
Talents: Magic skill training (Demon and Mage tree), Blood Siphon, Undead Feed (HP Drain spells for survivabilty), Mage Shields and Healings.
Make sure to equip armors from Tournaments in Gasho island.
I really enjoyed the storyline. I would like to have a speed up option though. The game is not difficult but time consuming.
If you have a mouse with multi click button you can win this game with a single racket. As a matter of fact guns slow you down. I wish I could drop the guns with a hot key and keep smashing everything.
Great strategy game. It's also good that you can go back in previous areas and farm gold for upgrades. A speed up (fast forward) button would be admired though (:
