Trying to play on Firefox and nothing is properly lined up and fits on the screen. Trying different zooming in options. 120% almost works, but things are clipped off the edge of the frame.
Specifically installed Firefox to check. Everything works fine for me. And the way the game looks should not differ in different browsers, except for rendering fonts. The game has a resolution of 960x640, so it should fit easily on almost any screen. I'm afraid the problem is with your settings/extensions and i can do nothing with this, sorry!
Late game seems impossible. It takes literal years to research any tech. Shield damage reduction is so high that it's impossible to penetrate even while stacking multiple upgraded anti-shield weapons. All damage reduction needs to be nerfed, while late-game tech should be reachable. The difficulty ramps up way too hard sometime in the 80's wave numbers. Enemies are using invincible dreadnoughts while the tech needed to counter them is literal years away.
The only viable strategy seems to be very actively spamming as many prestiges as possible, but even then it isn't enough since it's only a linear progression against an absurdly exponential late-game system.
All technologies stuck at level 1 after prestige. Replicator seems to do absolutely nothing when you assign workers except consume resources. A wiki for this game is desparately needed.
1) can you provide some tips for reproducing the tech bug?
2) check "Components" on drones cards, components are reserved based on priorities
3) i'm expanding the in-game info section
Thanks for this report, we're looking into the issue and will push a fix ASAP. Workaround currently is to refresh the game for it to show up. Update: Patch is live, refresh to play the latest version.
Zooming in on Firefox makes the buttons not clickable and makes things not show up. I play most games zoomed in because I keep my resolution set at 1080p. I like being able to see and read what I'm doing without destroying my eyes.
Upgrades felt slightly underwhelming. Wish there was a way to get some money back for weapons/armor purchased. New Game+ didn't seem that different from the first playthrough. Overall the game seems a bit short. "isles" implies there's more than one main level. I would love to see this game expanded with more content.
That said this game was a lot of fun. Smooth, decently balanced gameplay. Only bug I found was a gold coin stuck in a lake (only happened once).
Text is super blurry and the amount of repetitive clicking after figuring out what to actual do is painful. Also the music is repetitively annoying after less than a minute.
The game becomes stupid difficult with all the upgrades working against you eventually. There should be some way to undo the effects of the upgrades or reduce the difficulty even further.
This game feels very unfinished, like an early alpha version. Has a lot of broken visual elements. Upgrade screens are black boxes. Some don't work. No indication of how to get points or how much total xp you have. It would actually be a halfway decent idle game if it were actually finished.
short, stripped down version of "The Perfect Tower". Even has the same cube enemies. This game has a different aesthetic and some different activated abilities but not much else to offer. The music gets pretty repetitive after about 5 minutes. About 20 to 30 minutes of total gameplay. Gets annoying when you die and have to keep repeating the same level to farm resources. Not really a fan of infinite lives/continues. It makes the game grindy and not challenging. You can win by just turning all the powerups on auto once you have enough upgrades.
Could use quite a few improvements, but the one that really bothered me is only being able to prestige one level at a time. It makes grinding out high levels completely pointless in the early game. I do enjoy the basic mechanics, but the game's overall progression is just frustrating.
managed to get past the paragons window finally and resurrect in town. Now my character is stuck in the bottom left corner and can't move. This game is just plain broken.
