Wow, I didn't expect a new game so quickly after what I consider your best one. Thank you, really. These are the only games of this genre I enjoy, and I think you have a real gift.
Guys, the point of the general is that he doesn't take reinforcements to replace. Because of that, he's actually super useful, and a lot of strategy goes into exploiting his free health and damage as much as you can.

I found a great bug. If you become the paladin that has the extra hit point, and then change your class, you keep the extra hit point. + so all can see.
Disregard my below comment. I didn't have concentration, but it is the most important skill, as I found out. Skills get more important in descending order.
Best strategy: Get the first 2 upgrades for your gym in each path, then only buy protein and cards. With your third recruit, never train normally. You should only be using cards or protein for everything.

Dope Boy's comment is completely wrong. I ended the game with 4 legendary items. Not all legendary items are equal, some are far better than anything you can get form the shop. 150000 is the most expensive common item.
The best two skills are the skull and the bear trap. The shield is just a worse bear trap, since they neither attack when using the trap (making their attack 0 and giving it no knockback), nor do they avoid your attacks. The skull is used best with an additional damage skill, since it increases ALL your damage. Against bosses, use skull and trap, then unload all skills while under skull. So easy.
Any 4 maxed units will win the game, but I found blazems to be quite low on my tier list. Rumbaro's are the best early game unit, coming from the monkeys. They wipe out whole teams before my Blazem can get a shot off.
Excellent game! It was very difficult, and I can tell you put a lot of thought into it. It also got progressively more difficult rather than seeming like you ran out of ideas, so I applaud you! That last level took a lot of thought.
