The towers are seriously bugged. Here's a scenario that just happened: a bunch of missiles appear, but I have two towers with all the antimissiles unlocked from a supply crate. I start shooting down the missiles with the best antimissiles available, but my towers keep randomly deselecting themselves and/or switching back to the weakest missile. Then my screen starts jumping around to various objectives that I've already got covered and pretty much all the missiles get through. Also, for the objective in derailment where you have to send marines to search the rubble, unless you knew about the objective before you got it it is literally impossible because even if you already have marines at you base when you get the objective and send them immediatley you'll still run out of time before they get there.
ty for your thought, there is no bug in this mechanic gili this is a behaviour of the touret handling or a unwanted mousewheel roll (it happened to us too while playing). Some time objectives will be balanced soon.
Something is seriously bugged with the show proto power button. When I click it it almost never gives an accurate percentage. I checked it out and found that it won't show recently acquired protos or protos that you traded allies for. It's really confusing so plz fix.
This game is way too laggy. Even a 1/2 second lag is enough to get you killed when weapons like ion cannon and holy grail are involved. And I've clocked the max lag onj minimun quality/effects at 3 seconds
Hey armagame what are we supposed to do about prototypes which are attached to earlier models, we can't use them for anything and can't even rade them?
One other problem with timing: I'm in the middle of fending off missiles when a guy my units were protectinng on the other side of the map survives, so the screen shifts to where he is and by the time I have to get the screen back the right place and reselect my tower, so a bunch of missiles get through.
I'm just doing derailment on normal I haven't tried it on expert yet. Also, I noticed that on normal the enemy somehow gets lvl 3 anti-air even though there's only 2 anti-air techs
hi gili you can win all mission with low lvl units in normal mode. (maybe with some experience)
My mate and I have won all mission in expert mode with low lvl unit (it's a little bit difficult^^)
I already tried the combat protocols thing and it doesn't work right: the red thingy makes them ignore you entirely and just look for enemies and the yellow one makes them half pay attention to you like I described. There's no mode to make them give your commands top priority.
units decision is driven by a global rate, this rate for more reality includes human behaviours like "execute orders" at all cost or (like in real situation) "don't obey exactly" to the orders. But don't worry the global obediance is enough to garantee you a good control.
Also, on the president's daughter objective in derailment the president's daughter runs into my base an disappears, then it tells me that I failed to save her so something seems scewed with the timing there. Also during derailment I noticed that all the objectives where you need to protect a moving unit happen at the same time as missile strikes, and since there is no escort protocol you can't do both at once and end up either letting missiles by or failing the objective
just trying to help
Hey armagame there's a slight problem with the priority system in battle. When ever you give your units a command, they will obey it until they see the random drone that you never got around to killing aand then will chase it halfway across the map instead. I get that you're trying to make the units take initiative and all, but it's really annoying when their instinct to attack a random enemy has higher priority than my orders to scout a certain area or escort a certain unit or something. I've lost count of the objectives that I've failed because my units didn't listen to me.
hi gili, ty for the report, you can chose the order priority for each unit.
Maybe you set your units to attack mode instead of holding position (button at bottom right panel, you have to select units to know their mode) . Let me know.
Hey armagame did you deliberately make the second buggy tech cost gold or is that just a glitch? either way plz make it cost strategy points instead. thx
Wow, the snow is a really epic trick, now I can't wait to find out what the other seasons will be like! In the meantime I have one suggestion: Instead of having "select all ground unit" or "select all air unit" commands you should try letting players form tactical units in their army. This would be a lot more useful 'cause commanding half your army to a specific task is a little too much, and commanding various specific units is really annoying
Your database has the names of all sorts of tiny villagees but it doesn't have the biggest city in Canada! I think that I speak for all Torontonians when I say that you should get your act together and put our city on your map!
here's a glitch to fix: every time you get more than one prototype in a drop, they're all duplicates so you realistically only get one, also how do I exchange my gazillion duplicates?
