LOVELY! i gave this game a pretty scathing review the other day do to the serious bug issues. but i am more then delighted to note that the bugs have been fixed(and the game play even seems smoother) although the music still seems a bother(love mute buttons) i change my score to 8/10, keep up the awesome work and response time matakukos!
(comes back) okay i can get thro this its no big deal just dont think about it, its just a game i mean its not like the maker could have been thinking........(sees trouser snake)...........SON OF A B****!@!@
oh hey a snake game how fun oh 28 diff modes this could be cool, hmm i wonder what viper mode is*pulls it up*huh brown and pink kinda......it kinda...........looks like a.............*pauses game* i dont think i can ever play a snake game again 0.0 (cannot be unseen)
thought it was just the plasma gun with disappearing bullets NOPE! other guns are doing it too!!!, i was thinking of just choking thro this game because i love NBW thinking maybe it would get better as i went, but these bugs are game killers, re-evaluation 2/10, if i cant even force myself thro it just for giggles thats all bad news, someone let me know when all the bugs get fixed*if ever* (goes and plays NBW2)
(frenteic) mode is also massivly bugged, beat the boss and...........no win? just flying on..........and on and on and on.........and on. dude for the games youve put out before why all the crappyness all the sudden?
.........as much as i love this series of games there is some serious bugs in this game. weapons are underpowered for being so inaccurate too. difficulty curve is 1 2 wall, or maybe its because my shots keep disappearing into nothingness right in front of my ship?the music and sfx are just annoying had to mute it to turn on my OWN music. and whats with a bulion? obviously we use it as a secondary cash?(supposed to be a purchasable bonus?) its obvious you can still collect it but is there a limit to how much each lvl gives you? can i replay lvls to get more? or do i have to choose between weapons or the best ship? nothing to explain it in game. honestly this feels rushed and........sorry to say cheap, theres a lot of neat new ships and weapons and a better system for understanding them but thats it really, nothing else makes it really different from the others aside from the bugs. 4/10 for nothing new to really offer and the downgrade in sound
heres another bug, fighting 2 enemys and i have 2 slaves with me. i kill one enemy thro the chest*looks beautiful btw* and to me he shows out of game..........then my slave thats still alive starts attacking his arm.........now get this to me i still see only one enemy alive, as in i can only attack the last one. but the stupid slave on auto is attacking the dead man and doing damage ><
definately have some bugs here, when choosing a fight after awhile if you try to scroll down the click area of the "support" button gets in the way. i know you guys want money but come on!
as a big fan of dn8, this just makes me cring to be honest.power-ups are basically the same, the music is repetitive, boring, trying. no amount of remixing the beat fixes that, honestly i had to mute it halfway in game simply for it being so annoying. i like that for playing the first game you have perks. someone made a mention of the defense drones and it does maker it harder, but thats part of the game dealing with the upgrades, but making the graze zone smaller.just no, your a pixel away from death and this game even on lowest graphics lags a little.background on dn8 was fun and added difficulty for the "wtf"factor this one is just.....lazy,boring and obvious. the enemies as well are just sad. no laser bosses"at least from what i saw i stopped playing when the upgrades were done"no interesting combinations of incoming enemys and they looked horrible! the bosses looked like 16bit blown up jpg. 1/10 ive seen your work, i know you can do better. i eagerly await another installment.
Sorry you didn't like this one mate. I personally think it plays better than the first, but that's quite possibly due to it being my new baby, I really need to give it a couple of months before I can compare them subjectively. Thanks for taking the time to review it ( As to a 3rd one, I can't see that happening. I'm not a fan of doing sequels unless the games got something new to give, for this one its mainly the visuals ( The glows, the 60fps movement ), I don't know where we can take this next, short of making it true 3D and using the camera view to mix things up. Never say never, but I think this is the end of the DN8 universe ).
i like this game, great time waster, however the medpak cost going up just seems absurd to me. i assume its cost goes up by your lvl which seems silly being the amount of money you get doesn't go up by lvl unless you invest in it only which im sure people do but still theres a limit. I would think it would be nice to get money for killing the zombies too instead of only from completing a wave. that way the money is the zombies but surviving is the bonus which would also get rid of people JUST SPAWNING FOR CASH, which is a lamer gamer way out. also maybe extra money for not being hit or accuracy? that way you could auto fire but theres a reason not to. 4/5 all in all 4 only being because theres always room for improvement :D
you know ive also noticed most if not all enemy's i fight are suppose to be female (i suppose so from a small bump on their chest region) not sure if i should call that sexist, a break in the games randomizer, or laziness on part of the designer.
i have always loved this brand of game. a Rpg where stats are effected by what you do and experience not lvling up and picking what to put it in. However this game always seems to have lag problems, not to mention the repetition of battle gets annoying after the 10th time. takes too long to kill a enemy that you obviously outclass. there really should be a auto fight option where you can set the parameters of the fight. and set it up so you aren't forced to watch the animation of battle just click and its over. and for those less confident set it up so you can see the battle as normal and control it to (X) extent.
it was fun and interesting to say the least. it reminded me of that "creeper" game where you fight the creep to reclaim the land. however the best part of this game was the ending theme which i thought was pretty funny. Now i do like this game for everything that it is but as with all games many kinks to work out. it gets pretty lag-tastic at night when zombies come if you try to put down more defenses. which i had the game on low quality. the towers are hard to estimate the power and range while taking up odd amounts of power...... id say look into adding something to show consumption rates and production rates. you have production rates but it all is rounded into a single thing for energy while there is no count for any thing else. all in all good but needs some user based comment tweaking
as fun as this game is. IT TORMENTS ME!!! how does he not have to strength to bust back out of the bag! and as for him running back.......why isnt he getting all those gummies he missed? i mean they are all running towards him anyway double your money man!
neat little game, when the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie :D. which btw i beat the game with second body, second energy 1st gyro 3rd booster and first collector. hope some badges hit this game
okay whoevers idea wave 20 in the scenario campain was im going to hunt you down and shove 2 of those tanks down your throat. YOU SUCK!!!!!! good game tho but THAT LVL IS WAY TO DAMN HARD!!!!!
thank you for your feedback :)
