The game starts great and is fun but as your characters lvl up the extremely low drop rate of the die shards deprives you of any options other than paying to make new die and upgrade your power. Since at lvl10 I feel forced to pay for new die I can only imagine how robbed I'll be by the time I reach lv20. Play it till it stops being fun, investing money seems risky.
It has some good elements and the style of games like kingdom rush but its riddled with unwanted features like constantly nagging you to buy premium, energy system and daily things to keep you returning. Its been a long time and we can tell when a game is aimed to making money more than being a good game... my guess is difficulty gets harder later on, to make you buy premium and hearts... may this mindset in making games be lost forever in the gaming world.
Its fun because Asterix is a great franchise, I'd play any Asterix game. As of the game itself I can only offer my condolenses, a rotten dead game model developers keep raising as a dread zombie over an over to grab another bunch of cash for the few days the game will be new and people will be interested. Seriously guys, start making real games or gtfo.
i really hope to see this game evolve to something more. gameplay i so fun and at the same time so many issues... graphis don't allow you to understand how far you are from ground, colision is not accurate, obstacles spawn to places its impossible to keep flying... and the highscore is actually dependant on how many times you got lucky in a row and managed to continue flying after stopping on an apple tree. these apple trees take all the hype away, honestly.
To make it simple for you, kellmaster, the game is great as long as you have supplies (first 1-2 hours) and once you run out it becomes a tedious struggle to find enough of them. Since you need to spend supplies for missions some things like creating advanced runes or items become impossible (while they should be challenging yet possible) but most of all a playing session length is not up to the player to decide since after a certain point there is nothing else to do aside watching auto duels. Its a perfect example of why energy systems don't fit well with RPG, it makes the game drive out any player who wants to keep playing. If that's clear to you, that's where I stop explaining and start calling you names as well. :)
As beautiful as the CGs are the game is horrible. A game where all I have to do is pick the card with the bigger number for my squad. Still, thank you for giving a few good artists a paying job (I hope).
The bullet hell gameplay is fun but in the end of the day its just another moneygrabber... lots of complex systems or crafting, upgrades and ehansements, barely explained, all with one thing in common, the need for the player to pay money.
the art is nice but the game is just another shameless pay-to-win. Not to mention there's no guarantee that the pvp opponents are real players. Have your fun and go, there are much better games in kong.
the game is sweet and the graphics are amazing!
I just wish there was actually some pvp going on... on Tier 1 I have not found a single match so far, even with expanded range. So, game's for the 5-6 fights and then wait till endurance fills...
Awesome game, new interesting mechanics for combat and yet, the old usual energy system. I started playing, loved it and then the game tells me "pay or come tomorrow"... Well, I may come tomorrow but I don't think I'll be coming the day after like this. This isn't farmville, planting crops today to harvest tomorrow, its a combat and pvp game. How do you expect people to stick to it if there isn't at least one portion of it available to play for longer than an hour or so?
I got a quest were you send an adventurer investigate some ruins, he returned with 15 gems... but had 3/5 gems and there was no button to upgrade! >.<
I suppose its a missing feature for that kind of quests :/ Anyway, try to keep some extra room for your rare ingredients.
