The game has a lot of moments when it is too difficult, but for the bad reasons. AI with 100% accuracy and able to shoot at you from outside the screen area, difficult platforming due to some issues with the physics engine (Such as rising platforms that shake and make you bounce on them repeatedly, thus slowing you down and making jumping difficult), badly-placed assets that give the player a huge disadvantage and the freaking escort mission. But at the same time, it is far too easy. Respawning with minimal penalty (Losing money, which you can just pick up again), easy to find ammo and the chance to get powerful weapons early in the game. The game has a lot of potential and it is fun at first, but all of these cons I mentioned deteriorates the quality of the game.
I hate the AI of this game. Too simplistic, the bad way too. Also, these turtlebombs are bs. They should have been limited-use for the enemy or at least a rare chance for them to use one. On the contrary, before the bomb shows up, everything else was far too easy. For all of you who wonder if this game requires skill, like most artillery games do, don't worry. This game is 20% skill and 80% luck.
Cool game with good atmosphere and weapon variety. However, I found it to be too easy to my liking.
The weapons placement is bad. It makes the game too easy due to the abundance of ammo and how early I get the supposed late-game weapons. Also, no ammo limit.
The monsters were pretty cool, but there was a lack of ranged enemies (wish the robots had guns) and their placement cheap sometimes, but even then it was easy due to how many Nukes I managed to get.
The level design was also quite great most of the time. It really felt like I was in a lab and that the whole map was not made just for specific monster placements. I found a few maps to be very annoying mazes. My favorite map was the Unknown. It felt like a secret level and I thoroughly enjoyed it. A more whimsical theme would truly make it feel like a secret level.
All in all, I enjoyed the game to pass my time with, but it felt too easy, even with the clunky controls (Which filled me with nostalgia, btw). Great game.
JuiceTin here decided to not work on making the game good, but make it longer. One thing that I have not met in the game while I played it is the lag that the previous games had, which might be the ONLY good thing about the game.
But I would prefer the lag of the previous games over this game of grindfest, boringness and laziness. The previous games had a story, they were more friendly for players and it focused on fun, not long, boring grinding.
Remember folks: Quality over Quantity. Always.
More classes! More maps! More weapons! Recruit system! Level System! More missions! More gamemodes! Longer gameplay! And somewhat better graphics too! This is what makes up Strike Force Heroes 3!
What ALSO makes up this game is the long, boring grind, a quite bad recruit system (You can recruit people only once per day and they can get tired too, making the game longer, but boring and forgettable (JuiceTin working for EA confirmed!!!)), some classes are meaningless, the maps are lazily-made, the missions' stories are forgettable and cliche (Even the villain is a cliche!), the missions themselves are not well-made either (The first mission itself was very lazy) and the level system itself is also not good, making it a game of grind. This is a shooter game, not a RPG game.
I can't even earn any blop cash. Every time I get any, the amount returns to 0 as soon as the stage finishes or I enter the menu. This makes the game very hard, being unable to buy any researches.
