Of course there is save. I apologize if its not working for you. There is an auto-save feature which saves the game whenever you finish a level, buy something from the store or quit the game. Do let me know if its not working for you, game is stored using the browser's IndexedDB API. So make sure you dont clear that.
Could you please elaborate on this? What exactly is bad balanced: units (some are too strong too weak) or AI (too strong too weak). Also what exactly is slow: gameplay or FPS? Did you play on a mobile device or PC?
