I don't mind why you made this game. But with a lack of anything "new" I don't see the point of it. Just because some people QQ about the zombie setting. At least a couple new skills (regeneration: each piece used on next turn heals for 1/2/3hp, Poison: enemy takes 1/2/3 damage every piece they use, Power: Every 4/3/2 pieces deals an extra point of damage) for example.
Great game. Fun all the way to the end.
Things it could use: Endless mode after completing. Someone said this already, but buying weapon slots doesn't make much sense. Buying extra weapons does. Would have to greatly reduce the cost of weapons to make up for it, which would sadly make getting the best easy.
Just finished (which btw is 100% on all) as Divine. Level 8 I almost needed to be level 15. So much AoE needed yet so limited. If this is because of the ability to heal, it is not worth it, since all of the spec's can get that ability. Spark of Life - it needs an after effect, I'd like increased run speed. Can add this into the talent easily. Again with Fire/Frost having little early on for a second tree. Switch Advanced Fireball and Hot air, at least gives fire something. Smite has no AoE on impact, intended? Will give Divine one thing, that boss went down very fast. One tree should have an AoE talent, increases range/width of frost nova/judgement and you can add the more fireballs I said before for Ring of Fire into it as well.
Just finished the frost tree. Found it a bit more challenging. I'd say have frozen targets cause no damage should put a little more in like with fire. Blizzard should slow all targets on the screen. I'd like to see Armageddon change a little, perhaps a large meteor slams into the ground damaging all targets, instead of it's current setup. 100% crit to targets in the middle (or w/e you put the explosion). To make it useful or bosses(but require timing/luck).
Would like to see double/triple fireball to also effect Ring of Fire. Maybe have the extra fireballs spread a little instead of go strait. Have yet to try the other two spec's. Early frost is not attractive as a second tree though. Maybe deadly nova can increase all damage by 5/10%. Icebolt Frenzy can increase projectile speed.
As said, needs a fast forward button. Multiple people you control would be nice as well. I'd like to see more from melee weapons (such as the bigger ones can multi-hit, daggers can backstab). Better off getting the pistol and aim for the head than using a melee. Shops need to be a bit more exciting, Don't really see anything worth looking at till the 3rd. Very solid from what I've seen otherwise.
First battle I did past the intro wouldn't attack, just go to the next round after I selected my ability. Restarted and it worked for a while. After a few battles froze.
Game has a lot going for it, just needs the bugs fixed.
Good game, getting a bit too repetitive where I'm at now. Lots of little things that could be made better. One being I would like my gun to face my mouse every level. Can be a pain to not think about it that I pushed C last game, start a new one and I'm shooting blank space because my cell is not set to face the mouse. As someone else said, either allow us to go back and change our reward or set it up a different way. I'd like to see each level reward a skill then allow us to go back to gain that extra point. I could not find a way to exit a level or restart it without dying. If you get stuck in a current with no enemies to kill you, you have to refresh the page and the whole game. Spikes suck, change it to "Increases ram damage and returns damage when hit". Would make it a bit more unique and less annoying to use.
Although I made a long post about the down sides I did give it a 4/5. Still a good game, but I can see a lot more coming out of it. It runs very smooth and the controls are easy enough. Even making the enemies more complex(like ones from behind you or something) would improve on it.
