I beat it with Lex, the first guy. On the last level I just spam cheapest two as fast as I can to fill up to the 40 max or close, his call of duty helps so much to keep my army as large as I can get it. I got the tower upgrades real quick after that to help bounce back after a bad wave. After that I was fully upgraded and could push forward with all the best units constantly on cool down with lesser units to keep my army size as high as I could. I just had to pay attention to his spell timing, but with Lex you are able to spam spells faster than him and always have the numbers to overwhelm his army.
This game has a steep learning curve. It took some commitment to get the daily done. There is way more to this game than just the easy which is why all the rest are hard. I may have to try this out on steam.
I love that it sometimes seems so hard but when you slow down and look things over you are able to pick it apart. It's very rewarding to complete each level.
So much complaining about BOTD and lag. I experienced zero lag whatsoever. I'm not playing flash games on a toaster so maybe that's why I was able to enjoy this game. I'm trying to be objective here but I simply am unnerved by the lack appreciation for games solid platformer gameplay. I cheered when I got past the last level. I felt actual joy to complete the challenge. I want the developer to know that the challenge was truly enjoyable but instead I get shouted down by the ungrateful hordes who demand instant gratification. Bruh sorry about your crappy PC, mine played it just fine.
Haha awesome...this game is clever. I like the simple mechanics and timing. I really love that people are complaining about the BOTD being too long. Over 11k players have the the badge... it took 15 min... get good. At what point did actual challenge become the worst feature of video games? ****
One tip of minor importance: There is a river of lava on the far left, second square from the bottom. At first I did not recognize it as such, I thought was just a wall. Indeed it is lava, use your ice wand to cross it.
I played through twice and I love the balance struggle. My last score was a lowly 300ish. Nowhere did I get the option to submit that score however. I like the music. How do I submit my score?
When launching pull down toward one of bottom left or right corners of the screen. Invest in radar first after that work on e-rocket and fuel tanks. The magnet helps but it probably won't help you for the hard achievement.
Thanks! As for the score, it is submitted automatically! The achievements you can't earn if playing with extra gold. But score should always work.
