I just survived the elephant rave, went back to the front page, and Kong recommended this game... Why does this site hate me? What horrible sin have I committed?
Okay, seriously... That last wall climb without a mid-way save point was the equivalent of an unskippable cutscene right before a major boss battle... That was just plain frustrating, and ceased to be fun. Also, it would've been really nice to have some sort of end scene as a reward for going through that.
I'm sorry, but I can't give this a good review. As of this writing, it's an edgeless copy of Cards Against Humanity with a pay-to-play system that charges players for games that never start. The selection of cards is extremely limited, and many combinations are nonsensical and filled with syntax and conjugation errors. Also, I have to wonder at the legality of trying to make a profit off an unauthorized copy of someone else's IP.
How did I score an A++ when he's missing his lungs but I left a couple broken ribs and a scalpel in his chest cavity? What sort of third-world hospital is this?!?!?!
Short game, nice art style, definitely original. The gaming part of the game was understandably lacking, but the overall story and experience were phenomenal. 5/5
Woohoo! Thanks for adding badges. I already beat the game and got every upgrade and achievement the day this made front page, so I just got all the badges and the card!
I wanted to give this game a 5. However, there's a serious problem with the fluid physics, especially the acid: The fluid doesn't always roll off surfaces properly. Several times I had to reset a level several times because one or two blobs of acid came to rest on platforms, preventing me from crossing to the exit.
I have to agree that level 25 basically ruined this game for me. I loved the creative puzzle solving in most of the levels, and some of the easier breakout levels were okay, but level 25 just kinda came out of nowhere. If anything, have it "save" every 10 bounces or so. So, if you get to 85 bounces and lose the ball, it resets at 89, etc.
I've been trying to get the last achievement forever... Thankfully the new guide worked for me!
1) Pick Virus. 2)Start in Canada, New Zealand, Cuba, Greenland, or Madagascar. If you do not get there restart. 3)Sell starting symptoms, if any, and buy sneezing (unless it is what you started with, just keep it). 4)Buy 1-1-1-0 resistances but no transmissions (they trigger closures). 5) Once three countries are infected, sell sneezing to get rid of visibility. 6)Wait until all countries are infected. If Madagascar closes its shipyards or is not infected in 30 days, restart. 7)Buy all four drug resistances, sneezing, coughing, and vomiting. 8)After a few days, unlock tiers 2-3, keeping whatever symptoms it gives you. 9)Buy fever, fatigue, diarrhea, pulmonary edema, and hypersensitivity. 10) Wait until everyone dies. Keep this comment alive ^^
