Cheers, am a bit disappointed it has now dropped below an average of 3 .. but I always like to make stuff that I like to play myself, other people liking it is always just a bonus.
Thanks for the comments gents .. I have made changes to the game as follows: 1) Rate of fire / damage balancing to make the game more "intense". 2) Lightening strikes more frequent. 3) No repetition of messages. 4) Levels are shorter to ramp up game quicker. Hope that makes the game more enjoyable for you all. Cheers.
Have you done much work on [object].hitTest([DestinationObject]) .. ? If not I would recommend looking that up.. Hittest on the projectiles and check if they are hittesting the enemy tank(s).
Great game but waaaay too many bugs to rate yet. I love 1 man taking out 16x soldiers etc.
Worth a good 4 or 5 when the bugs are fixed and saving saves a bit quicker.
Kinda the same as that space invader game from easrlier in the year .. Except you ain't shooting the blocks of course .. Wish I could remember what it was called ... Good stuff though.
