I don't know what I like most at this point: the amazing gameplay, the awesome graphics and attention to details, or the fact that the developer keeps updating the game with a constant flow of fixes and new goodies!
i havent even gotten to the new goodies yet, been fixing crap and fine tuning. but oh, they are coming. and when they do, it will be fast. like a ton of stuff in 1 update.
Well, there's all the mind-blowingly boring grinding, the messy menus and the frustrating weapon systems, but you gotta hand it to the Ninjafolks - this one doesn't start lagging until the fifteenth level.
It's a real addictive and fun game, and the updates make it really enjoyable. Two things I still find very frustrating:
- You're invicible to bullets at respawn, for a short time (nice) but you can still die from hitting a wall. When you get an extra play from a safe and respawn in the same ditch you were in the first time around, you die the same death (not nice).
- Crates are bouncy. That makes some maps ridiculously frustrating. Maybe making them bounce only if you don't press down to smash them would make sense?
Great game again. One glitch though: on Gauntlet arenas, when you have to pick three cards to be randomly replaced, the randomizer always gives you the same cards.
Whoever thought that it was a good idea to hide the class selection with the equipment was a genius. Now I get to bore myself suicidal with more grinding.
Or maybe just go play a game that makes sense.
It's nice and some tracks are real good, but I don't get why the resets get you to random spots (mostly right after the checkpoint...) and especially why there are no lap timer, or options for saving best times.
Is it a bug on the DPS numbers? Is it only what's displayed? Everythime I re-equip the same sword, the numbers keep moving from 57 to 160 and back and to some other numbers...
The fact that I need to get the units to get back to their little house before I can upgrade them would be a nice touch if getting them into the house wasn't such a pain.
Argh. Need a little help with the second level in the caves (Lvl. 10). Can't get that laser to not kill me. Anyone? Please?
Also, I love this game so far.
