If you're having problems with the big nest, you should probably wear both the hazard suit and the reactive armor before starting. And pray you don't meet a queen or razor queen, otherwise you probably won't finish.
actually, you should probably look for the razor queen on small nest setting. That way, if it bisects you (which it will, instantly, before you can even close your mouth from the shock) you don't have as far to go.
the void eater is formed by letting a gray glom with a gloople. The queen and razor queen have a small percentage chance of appearing near the end of your nest as a random spawn. Torchies and Frosties are both encountered easily on the Huge nest, especially in hardcore mode.
