Outstanding followup on #3.
The only improvement I'd really like is the grinding bit, it takes a quite a while to get your units and spells upgraded.
Goblin level with the Dwarf Hero and fully upgraded Orang Utans makes it a bit more bearable, but still...
Good game, lot of fun, but there are still some balancing issues.
Building cost increments should be scaled down. Even farms get ridiculously expensive and you are forced to keep adding them, so you're hardly as able to keep your defenses up to par with the enemy's strength. I'd suggest lowering the cost increase (if only for the farms) and linking the farm need to the actual amount of citizens (ie, 1-999 citz equals 1 farm, 1000-1999 equals 2 farms for minimum growth). You could also add that starvation starts when you lack 2 farms. Lacking 1 farm would mean limited effectiveness of Gold income
I also didn't like the way my city auto-upgraded constantly, which again increased my need for farms (taking away yet more resources I needed for turrets)
