Yeah, I knew Archbob wasn't the writer for it - perhaps I should have been more clear (but the "you guys" was there 'cause I thought it was a team or something).
As a first-time-out though, this is pretty phenomenal. It's a great start, and I hope to see you building on it in the future.
Archbob, you guys really shouldn't abandon this game. If the glitches were fixed up, it could easily have a better multiplayer experience than "Tactics 100", which is a pretty highly rated game.
Don't let this game die! Update it! Fix it!
Seems the card / badge calls were spot-on with this game - I earned the card before I even knew it had been added.
As for the game itself, eeeeh. The big zeppelins are just too tough - I'm not even sure my cannon is doing any damage to them. And... the game runs really slow. Slower than Stormwinds or Pillage the Village, and that's with all of the quality things turned down really low on this one.
Uh... the "story" is a bit... obnoxious, and the gameplay has "issues" with being "hard for the wrong reasons". Seriously, the repair cost is just ludicrous. Once you start fighting the APCs, you can barely make a profit, let alone build new things.
I know I'm giving... perhaps -more- feedback than you actually want, but this game has soooo much potential (I love the multiplayer... when it works).
> We were having major problems with the second glitch tonight (not showing movement on each other's screens), which ruins the whole experience (basically turns into Battleship with grenades).
>> Also had some problems with it totally freezing up, the last time after a Stun grenade, but I don't think that was what caused the problem initially.
Okay, tried some multi, found some more "issues".
>> For some reason, grenades got stuck going off on only one player's turn, right when it started, instead of at the start of the player's turn who threw them. It really unbalanced things.
>> Also, for some reason my opponents pieces didn't match where the really were, making it impossible for me to target them (except with grenades). That -really- needs to be fixed.
Another small oddity, now that I've unlocked everything and am trying out the bonuses/weapons/abilities:
> When something adds "range", either for attacks or for movement, it only adds in the cardinal directions (straight lines), instead of adding to the total number of squares. Is that intentional, or can you change it? It makes it really hard to set up good sniping shots.
> Also, attacks never seem to hit with extended range weapons - is the hit% based just on the distance? If so, that maybe needs to be tweaked, especially for sniper rifles.
> Also, I can't make new classes now. Is there a limit? Is it a glitch?

A good TD game, and even better, something different-feeling. I'm not a huge fan of "heroes" in my TD games, but that's just my preference. Good to see a TD game with some unique elements and mechanics.
I was in the "Man, I played this game before, it's not that good" camp when I came back in for the card, but after getting stuck playing it for a while, I remembered why it's a favorite. Addictive, if nothing else, but I'm a sucker for "defense your arse" games like this.
I've not gotten into a Multiplayer game yet, though a buddy and I are really looking forward to trying it out.
I bet it would -reaaaaallly- great if you could name the classes, eh? Eh?
Yeah. I seriously just put something heavy on my spacebar and let it sit, until I realized that I really could be doing better things with my time. Game is... Interesting, I guess? Would need a lot of work to be "fun" though.
