man .. doing the final challenge was tough. I kept getting beat on lvl 37 by the MOABs.
Tool up heavy with frosties, rockets and lots of those 8 way shooters in choke points.
For level 50, I just laid out a string of pineapples and let the MOABs run over them.

I finished it on normal with plently of life to go. I didnt' upgrade myself, but the towers. After lvl 20, you need a tornado in the valley with boulders on both sides. That was enemies are slowed in the valley and pounded from both sides.
Also upgraded the hell out of the vines.
Anyone beat level 12 on Admiral difficulty? I restarted the levels and tried being really precise on my shooting to get the accuracy bonus - to get more money - but still haven't beaten him yet.
